Breakfast buffet had a vast selection, proximity to amenities and beach spot on. Staff were faultless from reception to security. We (B & K) would like to say a special thankyou to Tom, who cleaned our room every day and put up with our British foibles! There was also a special birthday celebrated during this time - and a yummy cake was delivered to our room.
Truly Hua Hin and Cape Nidhra was the very best of our 2024 travels in Thailand, we would certainly return in the future.

One can get a little nostalgic when talking about the development of Hua Hin. The first beachside resort town in Thailand was originally a small fishing village. It manages to maintain a laid-back atmosphere despite chain hotels invading the best vantage points along Hua Hin Beach.
The current King of Thailand, Bhumibol Adulyadej, spends much of his time here in the royal residence of Klai Kangwon Palace, built in 1927. The local Thai population have followed ever since as they escape the stifling heat of Bangkok.
Hin Lek Fai Hill provides the finest outlook of the bay and its 5 km-long stretch of beach. The central Hua Hin Night Market satisfies your wallet and your stomach with its mix of local souvenirs and freshly cooked seafood.
These days there is a distinctive cosmopolitan flair to the city with many restaurants and hotels purveying a European influence. It is also less hectic than Pattaya, the rival beach resort on the other side of the Bay of Thailand.
Hua Hin Airport has flights from Bangkok, and the wooden Thai-style train station is regarded as the prettiest in Thailand. The city has many hotels and resorts for families and couples and Booking.com can also accommodate you at the famous Centara Grand Beach Resort and Villas.
Hua Hin is much more relaxed than Pattaya and Bangkok.
Hua Hin is much more relaxed than Pattaya and Bangkok. There are lots of bars and restaurants and the local beaches are beautiful. It's also easy to travel in land where there are amazing waterfalls and rivers with lots of activities to do.

I've been a regular visitor to Hua Hin for over 20years.
I've been a regular visitor to Hua Hin for over 20years. My favorite place' Despite the influx of tourists you can still find the Thai way of life. The night market is still a favourite for many but try the Thai food and entertainment end of Soi 102 and the Tamarind towards Koh Takiab (Thurs till Sunday). Ther's a cheap Baht bus 20baht. Stick your hand out to get on. Beware they cahange to more expensive taxi after 9pm. Petchaburi is a gem > wander around the world heritage temples and buildings It's vibrant market finishes at noon. The new Train station is vast and impressive. High speed trains some time in the future. Hope it doesn't spoil Hua Hin.

I liked the city so much!
I liked the city so much! we were there for almost 2 weeks and i think 10 days would be enought but still. we didn`t visit sightseeing places there
there is such a beauty in an old city of Huahin, in the romantic old-fashioned railway station, the beach is good, it`s quiet and not so many people in the city.
I especially liked the street art which is done by a team of two people so they use ony stylistics. the murals give the city this spesial vibe
maybe could be less of massage salons but it`s Thailand so no bragging on that
people are good, the sea is good. the fishing port is nice. very calm place, quiet. not for partying etc. even though there is a pub street so if you like socializing it`s a spot to check
i loooved the city and want to come back for sure!

We have been going to Hua Hin for over 24 yrs and have never been disappointed, stayed in many different types of accommodation from hotels to air B and B`s , and managed apartments , we prefer to stay out of town as it’s quieter and a tuk tuk is only around 150 baht for a trip into town .
It’s only 3 hours from Bangkok by private taxi company, safer than the mad dash mini vans and well worth 1,700 baht to travel in a bit of luxury ,
We ate at the white orchid restaurant which we really liked also in Cicada weekend Market and the Night Market in town and if your not keen on spicy food then head for Father Teds Irish bar as they have a full range of English pub grub ,
What would we avoid on our next visit? Probably nothing at all , but do beware of the pavements if your unsteady on your pins ,

It took us a day to work out how best to get around, some basic information about this in the room would have helped. We walked, cycled and used the songthaews (local buses)
The centre is lively and busy, staying at the Marrakesh hotel meant you could dip in and out of this at leisure. I would stay there again.
There was also a really good yoga studio nearby - Shakti yoga. Yod is a really good teacher, I would recommend him if you’re in to yoga!
This is such a wonderful hotel, situated close to the beach. The garden surrounding the hotel, is just beautiful. The hospitality of the staff is amazing, they are so attentive and caring. The room is spacious, and we loved the Moondeck with it`s privacy. It`s close to the center of Hua Hin (just a few minutes away with tuk-tuk or car). The Nightmarked is just a little walk away.
The restaurant serves a delicious breakfast, and lunch/dinner as well. We would love to come back, and are highly recommanding this beautiful hotel.
Bang at the front desk is really the star of this property. He is the perfect ambassador for Hua Hin and will always be there for you if you have any questions or need anything. Thank you for your hospitality Bang. Your smile, positive attitude, and small gestures were really appreciated. The hotel is very lucky to have you.
Excellent pool and lounge area.
Great location! Walking distance to the beach and the FABULOUS night market! Red light district is also right outside the door, if that’s your thing.
A beautiful hotel in the middle of Hua Hin. Lovely room with a huge comfortable bed 🛌. The place is spotless and the staff clean the room every day. Staff were so nice and helpful and they will do your laundry and return it smelling lovely.(it's the small things that matters most). Just a few minutes away from the main drag and the beach ⛱️. The Village Market is just a few minutes walk away and has lots of shops and restaurants. Overall a great place to stay for a good price 👌. Highly recommended
The room and the facilities were classic colonial look and feel. Bed was quite firm (we like it), and pillows were lovely.
Extremely peaceful location, at the quiet south end of Hua Hin beach.
Pool was very comfortable, and happy hour started at 4 pm, which was perfect for late afternoon enjoyment around the pool.
Breakfast was nice, and not excessive.
Parking was provided, although it was not covered, so staff put car covers on all vehicles in the parking lot - very nice.
BEACHFRONT CONDO was comfortable and spacious and well equipped. We enjoyed breakfast each morning on balcony overlooking pool.
The complex is quiet and well maintained, with many poolside lounges available, although they need a mattress for more comfort.
The pool is the best in Hua Hin, with 50m pools at each end. We loved it!
while this condo is located at quieter end of beach, it is easy walking distance to local cafes and restaurants, 7 eleven and laundry.
A good location within the heart of Hua Hin - easy walking distance to the main Night Markets, beach, cafe/restaurant strip (including waterfront restaurants) and train station. If you're interested in shopping, some upmarket shopping centres and the weekend Cicada Markets are a short tuk-tuk ride away. To be clear, this is a hotel, not a resort - if that suits you, the Maven Stylish is recommended.
The Centara Chain is a of the best one in Thailand but this Hotel exceeded all of my expectations.
The location is the best one of Hua Hin. The staff is polite and professional, the room is super, the breakfast is good and many choice, two swimming pool, beach front.
All you want they have. Great experience!
This hotel, guesthouse is in great location , 1 min walk to beach , 10 mins to major malls etc. the room was big and comfortable with everything needed to make your stay comfortable, ladies at check in very helpful and the free fruit and snacks daily is nice , would highly recommend a stay here in hua hin
I’m traveling with a wheelchair and a dog. The hotel is almost 100% wheelchair plus dog friendly. It’s rare to find such a well design hotel, both aesthetic wise and universal design wise. Beautiful space. Good food. Good designed space. Good vibe. Good staff. Beach front. Located at the center of Hua Hin.
We spent 2 1/2 weeks in this practical hotel with a great location. We had a small balcony and could see the ocean and mountains . There was a plug beside the bed plus one by the hot water pot for our morning coffee. Daily cleaning and bottled water was nice. Close to the Hua Hin Night Market and beach .
Great location in the heart of Hua Hin close to the beach. Facilities and the room were all clean and comfortable. What makes taphouse the best is the staff. The main lady at the lobby was so kind, helpful and gave it a great atmosphere. She was so helpful and made us laugh! great vibe
Nice pool in front of the beach. Hotel is located in a quiet and somewhat isolated area south of Hua Hin, with parking available. Breakfast and food in general was good. As the lobby area is a few minutes (less than 5) walk from the beach, there is a buggy cart service available.
A quaint beach destination outside of Bangkok. Refreshing to take the family to Hua Hin rather than the usual popular Thai island destinations. The family loved it! Beaches were clean and the location was perfect with the hotel located at the beach.
Great location and value for money hotel. So close to the Hua hin beach and the night market. Staff were friendly and courteous too.
Dont expect the room to be huge and lavish, its a small room but was comfortable for a single traveller.
It is right next to the night market in Hua Hin (great location). The beach is also close by. The host, Jenny, is lovely. We traveled with 2 young kids. Our room was big enough. The optional breakfast is hearty and healthy.
The hotel is a hidden gem, very close to the beach and right next to a 7-11. I liked the bed, the wifi was great, the staff were super friendly, and they really went the extra mile.
Very good location near market, and easy walk to beach swimming pool was nice, did not see restaurants open in hotel, nice hotel worth money for relaxing time
