Corfu Town is a joy to visit, with its worn, cobbled stone streets and Venetian architecture. I particularly enjoy meandering through there in the winter time, so much quieter and very atmospheric. Easter in Corfu is incredible! Lots of processions with brass bands, pot smashing, and lamb to be eaten. It’s unique.

The old town is walkable.
The old town is walkable. The town is very interesting, where history meets stunning views of the Mediterranean. Tons of restaurants and cafés. Don't miss Antranik for tasty food and beautiful views of the sea. Also try Averto Taverna (run by a family) in the old market. Unbelievably tasty meals from Corfu cuisine. For a drink in classy ambience, try Grey Goose. Visit Achillion palace (30 minutes by bus no. 10) walk along the "Cornich" (the water front boulevard) from the Windmill to the Corfu Port (60 minutes). Go to Kanoni's cafes (70 meters from the airport) to spot landing planes.

Corfu Town is a wonderful place!
Corfu Town is a wonderful place! I stayed there for 3 nights, and I have to say I could have easily stayed longer. For first time travelers, the blue buses link the airport to the city centre for a very low bus ticket price, but even a taxi won’t be more than 15€. The old town is so vibrant, full of little shops and restaurants, you will have a hard time choosing as they’re all amazing! The people we came across were all extremely friendly and helpful. The beaches around corfu town are mostly without sand but they have amenities and bars around. You will be able to find both free areas to swim in the sea and some where you can pay to get a sun bed and an umbrella. Overall amazing place, I can’t wait to go again! For food I would recommend Marisa’s Taverna, with generous portions and amazing traditional food. For meat I would recommend Pane e Souvlaki, with an amazing selection of grilled meats, all amazing! For a cheaper lunch souvlaki place I would recommend Pitta tou pappou. But really every restaurant offers amazing food so explore the little streets and get lost in this wonderful city. I would recommend a visit to Vido island, just a 10 minutes boat ride from the Port, where you can find secluded beaches on the part of the island further back from where you arrive by boat. I would recommend also visiting the Old Fortress, where you can do a small easy hike to the top and have a lovely view of the city, and if you have time pay a visit also at the New Fortress and the lovely area around it.

It is a beautiful vibrant town that you can not tire of.
It is a beautiful vibrant town that you can not tire of. Filled with bars, restaurants, boutiques, shops, ice cream parlours, bakeries and much more. The food in all restaurants is of a high standard and the locals are lovely relaxed people. The distant to airport is just 10-15 minutes and there are places to enter the sea for a cool down after walking the streets. Fantastic place. This was our 3 rd visit but first time staying in the heart of the town and it was amazing.

Corfu Town is definitely worth a visit and is especially...
Corfu Town is definitely worth a visit and is especially charming in the night, when there are less tourists and you can mingle in the cocktail bars with the locals. The streets are lovely, full of cafés and restaurants, very romantic for couples! The rest of the island is lovely to visit, above all Paleokastritsa (very touristy but definitely worth a visit!) and the North East and West. I recommend to rent a boat and explore by yourself the quite beaches and the amazing waters. The food is really authentic, healthy, tasty and cooked and served by locals. One of the things I appreciate the most is that one has real contact with the services providers (accomodation, shops, food...) and that is part of the travelling experience: to get to know the culture, the roots, the traditions. I would say that in times when travelling is being more and more infused with mass tourism and average quality services, Corfu is still amazingly well preserved and super authentic :-) I love this island, which I visit for many years now and that I can call a second home.
Good quiet location if you do not wish to stay in the centre of Corfu town. Its not the prettiest area but the Apartments are in a little oasis and are very pretty and well kept.
Excellent facilities - clean and modern apartment. Had the bonus of a lovely pool and garden which was lovely to relax in.
Easy to catch the bus into Corfu Town. Close to a supermarket for essentials and great coffee shop and bakery.
Would recommend these apartments as a great alternative to staying in a hotel or in the centre of the town.
Carpofoli is probably the best place you could expect to stay in Corfu Town. The accommodation is perfect and beautiful in every way. We spent our honeymoon here, and it could not have been better. The private courtyard and plunge pool was an excellent and unexpected addition, and our host Lucy was the best host we have ever experienced. She could not have been more helpful, informative, and a genuinely lovely person. We can't recommend this place highly enough. We would live here if we could afford it !
The studio is not big but it is typical for Corfu old town, same as the staircase. It is a part of its local charm. The space is perfectly organized so we had everything we needed. The location is great and the host was very kind and helpful, beyond our expectations:) That was our forth time in Corfu town and we liked this choice the most of all. And the best coffee in town is just around the corner (Cafetierra). Hope to be back soon:)
Beautiful boutique rooms at a perfect location, next to the town center but just enough isolated to avoid the busy crowds and the noise. The staff were great, always helpful and with the best tips for the island.
The breakfast was delicious and the overall experience was amazing and it felt like we were hosted at a friend's house! Highly recommended if you are staying in Corfu. We regretted that we only stayed for two nights only.
The area that we originally thought was just a generic airport hotel area turned out to be thoroughly lovely lots of bars and restaurants with stunning views across the sea and the Hellenis itself well placed with good swimming pool and great breakfast. Not far from a decent beach Very good value for Corfu town .Brilliant bus service into the centre every 20 minutes. Recommended
We really enjoyed staying here! The location is only a 20 minute bus ride from Corfu Town. The bus stop is only half a block away. There is a bakery and a grocery store just down the street. It was nice to come to a quiet location after touring Corfu. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed hanging by the pool. Our room was lovely! Would stay here again!
This hotel is amazing! It is located around 15 minutes walking (!) from the airport and about 17 minutes walk from the old town.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. The person at the reception was particularly welcoming, smiling, and helpful.
What we liked the most was the breakfast.
We would 100% recommend this hotel to ANYONE going to Corfu town.
Very nice staff there. Everyone is so kind, we got many information about the best places, spots, restaurants, etc.
Nice coffee, the rooms and the pool is clean, everything is regularly cleaned.
The apartman is in Gouvia, 10 minutes from Corfu town with car. Gouvia has a lovely street with many grillhouses and local shops.
I highly recommend this place.
Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, very hot shower. Everything in the apartment looked new. There is even a Nespresso machine and milk frother! Perfect for us coffee addicts. This really is a gem in one of the best locations in Corfu Town. Spiros was very reactive when we needed something. We will definitely go back if we need to in the future.
The apartment was very clean, very nicely decorated, comfy and beautiful natural light during the day. The location is exceptional, in the center of the town and relatively quieter than other locations in Corfu town. Wifi is exceptional. The hosts are kind and discreet. Everything was perfect
You have to understand how near this property is to the runway. The aircraft power up right outside your balcony. However the bedroom was triple glazed and we did sleep well. A few restaurants and bars nearby but not the best. Regular bus service into Corfu town.
I had a wonderful experience in this house. Ami was very friendly, helpful and a nice person to get to know. The house was in the best location in Corfu town. Overall, I had a great time there, meeting new people and enjoying my stay. Thank you!
Lovely hotel with pool, restaurant and bar. Good buffet breakfast included with the price of staff. There is also a bus route that operates from nearby the hotel into Corfu Town centre. Staff were very friendly and helpful which was a big bonus!
George was the best host of our 3 weeks in Greece! Sweet little guesthouse in prime location with comfy beds and fantastic breakfast! Excellent communication and great suggestions for hiking, beaches and restaurants across the whole island!
The hotel is on the outside of Corfu city center. It has a pool.
It is a good location for someone with a car or motorcycle. There is a taverna 10 minutes away, which was nice to stay.
The atmosphere was nice. Right behind a children's school and not far from the bus stop. Some staff genuinely helpful.
Best thing about the hostel are the other guests.
Lovely hotel in excellent location in Liston, right in the center of Kerkyra, Corfu town. Great beds, excellent bathroom and nice breakfast. Good coffee!
