Carlsbad was a great little town with yummy food and the most amazing National Park Caverns I have ever seen! Everyone should visit Carlsbad and see the Caverns!!! The Home2Suites hotel was in the perfect location to drive to the Caverns. People in Carlsbad are nice and it's diverse. We want to go back!

I love the river next to the park and my family enjoys the beach area every time we visit. On my last visit I was expecting to ride the boat that tours the river but it was not available, I hope it's available time, but Carlsbad its a beautiful town.

I loved Carlsbad. I like the people. The area is beautiful. There is more to see than the Carlsbad Caverns all though the caverns were pretty dang awesome!!!!. Sitting Bull Falls for one. I loved all the mom and pop restaurants.

I stayed at the Comfort Inn and suites for our recent trip to Carlsbad Caverns. Loved having the extra sofa bed. They served breakfast early enough so that we could a early start to see the Caverns. The hotels recommendation for eating dinner at D.H. Lescombes Winery and Bistro. A great place for adults to enjoy a wonderful meal
Comfort Inn and Suites is nicely decorated, clean and welcoming. I great place to stay when at Carlsbad.

Carlsbad Caverns is one of the greatest of the national parks. No way will you leave disappointed. Schedule your tickets as early in the day as possible to avoid crowds. Some fine restaurants in the city - we ate at the Trinity, excellent food & drink!!

A fantastic cavern.
A fantastic cavern. It has all of the drama of detail you would expect but this is a very large cave. Alot enough time to go through it. The cavern is mostly accessible by wheelchair, although there is signage to tell folks when it is not. One of the best caves I have been to in terms of the geologic formations as well as the displays that have been arranged. Restrooms are below grade as well as in the visitor center.
It’s new, modern. There was ample parking. The lobby area was inviting, plenty of comfortable seating, and very clean. It’s easy to get to, close to restaurants, and conveniently close to Carlsbad National Park (25 miles). The king room was nicely decorated with a seating area. All staff we encountered we very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was decent - the normal eggs, meat, potatoes, waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, etc. The outdoor pool area was not open at the time of our visit.
Front desk staff I dealt with were all really nice. I was glad to be on a bottom floor and able to park relatively close to unload. There was hot water and the AC worked (which doesn't always seem to be the case when staying at hotels these days!) TV was simple to use. I liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. They are definitely doing work to upgrade the property Not too bad of a drive to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadalupe Mountain National Park
The hotel has recently been renovated and everything is fresh. The shower is big and together with the toilet in a separate area. A nice wash hand basin with a large area to put your things. Beds and pillows are super comfy and feel like we were the first users, so crispy clean. A few nice places around for an evening meal (besides the usual strip of fast food restaurants).
The beds were VERY comfortable and the shower was incredible - probably the best I've ever had in any lodging worldwide! Super pressure and plenty of hot water.
The room was clean, and it was quiet even with the motel being pretty full. The area felt safe.
The staff were friendly and helpful. Typically we prefer to stay at hotels, but we would stay here again and again.
Very friendly family run hotel, when we checked in we met a very nice young man. He got us set up with our room and gave us some great suggestions for dinner.
The rooms are very clean and updated.
We really enjoyed our short stay and will definitely stay here again
We booked a room for two nights and they gave us a room with two beds and charged us for one night. I believe that they switched our rooms because it was a smoking room. The only reason we stayed here in because it's nearly Carlsbad Caverns.
Great location that was easy to find. The staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was good. The pool and spa were great for the family. The lobby was clean. The hotel was kept nice and tidy.
Reasonably comfortable bed. Great location on side of town closest to Carlsbad Caverns. Nice staff. Breakfast okay (waffles, yogurt, apples/oranges) but not great (milk tasted funny and eggs watery).
Hotel was fairly new, clean good place for visiting Carsbad Caverns, outdoor pool was lovely but it was rather to hot to sit out for long. Check in manager was very helpful
This hotel is pretty much as close as can be to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadeloupe Mountains National Park. The room had a full refrigerator and full cooking facilities.
