Great location. Easy to travel from hotel to the Mont. Even walkable (1.5 km) to Mont. Beautiful location. Friendly staff. Very helpful. Would love to stay again.
Housed in a historical building, this hotel is ideally located in the heart of Mont Saint-Michel. The classic-style rooms overlook the bay, the abbey or the medieval city.

Excellent restaurant - great service and good quality food.
At the foot of the abbey, the Mouton Blanc Hotel, welcomes you in its historic 14th century location. Le Mouton Blanc provides comfortable rooms with a simple yet cosy decoration.

The room was just off the main "street" minutes from the Abbey. It was great to stay over on the island as everyone leaves at the end of the day and you have the place to yourselves.
All I would say as a negative was the intructions weren't brilliant from the reception of the other hotel we had to use and we were wandering about for a bit with our luggage. Breakfast was nice and the room was lovely
Set amid lush greenery, just 2 km from the Mont Saint-Michel, the hotel welcomes you in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

The staff are friendly and willing to help. Great location and relaxing surrondings. It is possible to walk to le mont michele from here. The shuttle stop is also close to the hotel If you prefer taking shuttle bus to visit it.

Beautiful place to visit steeped in history but extremely crowded all day long. Only quiet and empty at night but everything is shut then very early and difficult to find a place to eat. The car park is extremely expensive and dreadfully overpriced. I paid €34 for overnight stay in a disabled Car park for which I had a blue Badge. Thought this was exorbitant and a terrible rip-off! However, there is no choice because shuttle bus is so far away from the Mount.

Great to spend the evening on Mont st Michel but aim to arrive by 7pm to enjoy a meal before all the restaurants close. You can look around the island once all the day tourists have gone home.
I recommend getting to the Abbey when it opens, or just after, agsin to get ahead of day trippers.
One night on the island is sufficient.
You need to be mobile. Steps too steep for wheelchairs and push chairs.

Awesome MSM!
Awesome MSM! Lots of people, very hot and lots of steps but very rewarding when you get to the Abbey. Fun shopping, and good restaurants. Avoid summer time that's for sure.
A "must" to eat lamb of salted meadow from Le Pre Sale restaurant. Very authentic, delicious and good presentation.
Shuttle service is a plus, you can visit anytime till 11:00pm.

Mont Saint Michel is an iconic monument in France.
Mont Saint Michel is an iconic monument in France. It is not easy to get to by public transport and if you have a car you will have to park on the mainland and walk, or take the shuttle to the island. But it is well worth it. Try to time a visit for early morning (Abbey opens at 9h30) before it gets too crowded.

Very impressive. Very crowded as expected.
Very impressive. Very crowded as expected. I primarily went to photograph the Mont but didn't have great conditions. Try to go when the tides are the highest to get those great reflection photos.

Room was fine, comfortable, big enough. The location is off the hook, you're right there in the thick of it all and early and late you have the island to yourself. The views from nearby are wonderful; from the room itself maybe not so much, as the buildings are all over each other, tiny passageways between buildings, that's the nature of the place. If you drive, be sure to get the code for the correct parking lot and follow the directions; we did and it worked like a charm.
I did not have great expectations for this hotel, based on the reviews, but booked anyway because my family wanted to stay on the actual island. However, I was pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was quite nice and the staff was very helpful. It was great to be able to wander around Mont Saint Michel after hours and the get into the Abbey in the morning before most of the tourists arrived. I highly recommend this hotel!
The hotel has a very excellent location.
Very close to the 'saint-michel'
The hotel can be very very proud for his staff . because they make this hotel to what it is .
There was plenty of place to park your car near the hotel .
( 9€80 each day isn't cheap, but it's a regular price you pay when you would visit 'saint-michel' on any other location too )
We were here with our little dog .
And we were very happy he could join us to this place .
The location as many have said is great. The navette (shuttle ) to Le Mont Saint Michelle stops right in front of the hotel
But I never saw the Hotel shuttle. This navette is the same that takes you from the bus stop if you are coming on the bus.
My single room was very small but enough for me. It wouldn’t be confortable for two people.
you get the basics for $150 dollars a night, but I think you are paying for the location
The room was basic as advertised. It was clean and the shower was nice. The nice receptionist took us to our room which included some stairs. It was a bit expensive but we stayed right on the "island" which was fantastic. We watched a beautiful sunset and could be first in line to visit the Abbey. By staying on the island we could avoid crowds. Definitely a must see place in France!
This is the worst hotel in all of France.
We booked a room, and when we arrived, they said that people had already settled in our room. They provided us with a dirty, old room and the smell was terrible. The hotel is very old, it is better to take a good hotel away from the castle and do not suffer.
The location was perfect. It was right on a stop for the shuttle to The Abbey. Our last visit we stayed on the island however this visit was much better staying at hotel Vert. Better rooms, more affordable, just as convenient as the shuttle runs for so many hours of the day now.
The room is clean and quiet. The shuttle bus station is only 1min walk from the hotel. Luckily we could book restaurant through hotel staff otherwise we couldn't find any food nearby. The breakfast is good with a fair price.
Third-nearest hotel to the Mont Saint Michel sums up the greatness of the location. As a bonus we had direct view to the river and side view to the monastery. At the discounted price it was very good value for money.
The location of the hotel is perfect--the shuttle bus for the MSM is right in front of the hotel. The rooms are comfortable. This is obviously not a luxury hotel but its perfect for MSM--very clean and convenient.
Practical, clean and well located. Close to shuttle stop to the Mont. and we had options for food very near. I was sent a code that enabled me to pass the gate and park right in the hotel parking. Staff was helpful
Location location location! You couldn't ask for a better view. Breakfast was great with a variety of items to choose from. The nearby bus service was so convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
The only reason to stay at this hotel is the location. I wanted to stay on the Mont, and was willing to pay the high price for a mediocre room. Sadly, poor staff service made the experience unpleasant.
We loved staying on the Island of Mont St Michel. It is small on the island so the hotel is close to everything. The bathroom was very clean and nice, seemed to be newly renovated.
Situated on the Island. Easy access to the abbey. Breakfast was OK. We were able to walk around the abbey later at night and early morning with out the crowds was the bonus!
