Our trip was amazing, however there was one theme that was a huge put off. Some of the places we went had absolutely horrible attitudes towards us. Rude with no greetings and sour faces, it is not nice to be treated like that. This was NOT at every place we went but it was enough times to stand out.
Apart from that....it was a fun filled trip

Rarotonga is a great place to visit.
Rarotonga is a great place to visit. Its layed back and the weather is very nice. The beaches are great. We ate at Supper Browne in Tupapa at their cafe which was reasonably cheap steak meal. The local food on the early morning on Sunday was fantastic. Going to the movies could be good for young couples to spend some quality time without being too occupied with big expensive activities.

Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga.
Enjoyed staying on the island of Rarotonga. Also did a day trip to Aitutaki. Both places were great for snorkelling, need water shoes to protect your feet from the coral.
Night markets offered delicious food.
We used the local bus to get around the island.

There is something special about this place.
There is something special about this place. From the moment we stepped off the plane, we felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed at Club Raro Resort (Adults Only) and I can only speak highly about this accommodation. They have amazing staff and the restaurant offers the BEST ribs on the island! Rarotonga is so relaxed and peaceful, all the locals and business's are really friendly, helpful and welcoming. You can use your New Zealand dollars, so no need for exchanging money before your trip. Easy to get around the island via rental car, scooter, bike or bus. Koka Lagoon Cruises were excellent! Four hours of fun, beautiful fish to see, snorkeling, yummy lunch and an entertaining show on an island. Happy Hour at The Edgewater Resort were a great price and so good. I've been here twice now and Raro will continue to be my annual holiday from now on.

beautiful beaches sunsets beautiful people very friendly plenty of things to do just lived the laud back feel highly recommend charlies, the, casterway resort for eating right on the beach fantastic food and cocktails
The unit was equipped and furnished to an exceptionally high standard. It was like staying in a 5 star hotel...but away from the commercial side of it. Walking distance to to all the resorts and cafes...but far enough to have a peaceful nights sleep. Bedrooms had air cons...which weren’t used as the units had a great airflow. Bathroom was stunning with a large walk in shower. Only down side...our stay wasn’t long enough. Exceptional accommodation with an exceptional host. We will definitely be back soon.
A little dated but a quiet and adult only resort. The staff was the best I experienced in a long time. They really treated you as family. The location was good, especially if you like whale watching. It was nearing the end of the whale season but many were still present and we could see them from our room.
The hotel management (owners), front reception and kitchen staff were a pleasure to deal with. Very helpful and accomodating. Location was amazing and we were lucky to see some of the best sunsets and prettiest of night sky we have ever seen. Loved our villa and conveinece of it.
Nev the owner was highly attentive of our needs and was always so helpful during out stay.He had great local knowledge and was really friendly. The bungalow is close to one of the best beaches for snorkelling and we loved our time in Rarotonga and learning about the culture.
the location is the best thing about this hotel. Sadly the recent storm got rid of the second best thing - the deck off the restaurant. Stunning beach, great location, beautiful grounds, hospitality staff and gardeners and most of the house keeping staff were lovely
We loved Everything!
The proximity of the beach and the use of the equipment was outstanding. It was close to family and the wonderful staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food was great, and best of all, we felt safe. I definitely recommend it.
The bungalos are very well equipped, clean and beautiful. Great quiet location on Rarotonga. The managers owners Lawrence and Simone and staff are incredibly nice. I miss them already. They make you feel like family. Very helpful for our stay.
Staff are some of the best we've come across. The amazing chef tweeked his menu to facilitate my husband's food intolerance and the food was great too. Experience very refreshing compared to other restaurants. Staff were happy to chat to guests.
The location of the place was very handy to a lot of tourist attractions. I would highly recommend this house to anyone who wishes to travel to Rarotonga for a nice family trip or group of friends. The host was very friendly and accommodating.
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
2nd time to Rarotonga and this was by far the best location for the beach, bars, cafe's, activities, vehicle hire and more
Nice friendly hosts.
Comfy bed bed and the water pressure in the shower was great.
The room was right on the lovely lagoon, which was great for swimming and snorkelling. The hotel is in a quiet part of the island. The location is the best thing going for it. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
Some breakfast supplies very thoughtfully provided. The bungalow is close to the ocean, the Rarotongan, and a store - and Shipwreck Hut. Couldn't have been better location, facilities, or host - excellent.
Great spot right on the beach and lovely staff. Recommend having your own transport for some or all of the time, although the bus does stop outside the hotel lobby.
Location fantastic, breakfast had great choices but could do with topping up items more frequently when busy.
