Dunvegan Castle and Garden is a must-visit. Very little traffic and easy to get around. Distances are deceiving because of the narrow windy roads - passing places are an experience!
We had a great lunch at The Three Chimneys just outside Duvegan

Surprisingly little there, used as a base for 3 nights, should really have done for 2. Dunvegan Castle nearby and worth a visit. Limited places to eat. Had to drive to get to anywhere including start of walks.

Wonderful little town with so many gems if you take the time to explore! Check out the Angus McCaskill museum for some quirky entertainment; the School House for a wonderful, hearty meal; Dunvegan Castle for a fantastic history lesson and some great walking paths; Two Churches walk up to the standing stone; and Misty's for a quick bite and some ice cream. Easy-to-walk town with friendly people.

Dunvegan is in a beautiful area of Skye and centrally located with easy access to the Cullins, and Portree. The weather was rainy most of the visit but we still managed to have a wonderful time and see the sights.

Dunvegan is in the North of the island, perfect for visiting Dunvegan castle, the coral beaches, Neist Point light house, carbost and the talisker distillery. Plenty of walks in and around the area. One negative is the state of the roads....beware! Potholes are everywhere

Dunvegan suffering a wee bit like many places from lack of staff making some hotels ,restaurants having to reduce opening hours but dont let that put you off as always somewhere open . It will get better as more tourists arrive ,our trip was very much at the end of a very strange summer season .We have stayed in the area many times and will most certainly return before too long .
Coral Cabins is a truly magical place. The views from the cabin were outstanding, and the property itself is stunning. The cabin was beautifully built, perfectly furnished, and immaculate - we were inspired by all of the thoughtful touches.
Jenny and Roland were wonderful and helpful hosts, and we can’t thank them enough for all they did to make our trip to Isle of Skye special. This experience will always have a special place in our hearts.
Overall, this stay is exceptional, 10/10. We would highly highly recommend!
This was our favorite accommodation of our entire stay in Scotland. Our host was very warm and accommodating, and the attic rooms were spacious and comfortable. Also, the breakfasts were some of the best we had. Just a few words of advice for Skye: Try to book your dinners in advance, as there aren't many restaurant options in the area and many close on Sundays/Mondays. Also, make sure you have plenty of gas before you drive to that side of the island, as the local gas station sometimes runs out.
Nice location in Dunvegan - great if you're staying on the Isle of Skye - besides of Portree. Very friendly staff, Rachel welcomed us upon our arrival and explained us a few things in general. Good breakfast - it's a mix of a la carte a bit of a cold buffet. Parking spots are available, the rooms quite cozy, bathroom was clean, shower nice and hot. They have a beautiful beautiful lounge with a fireplace - where you can spend time and grab some drinks.
Amazing breakfast! Freshly made to order with an amazing view. Incredibly clean and thought through place, including high quality toiletries and bedding. The bed was like a heavenly cloud and the bathroom was spacious and very well decorated. Absolutely adorable dog too :) Not far from Dunvegan Castle, which was really nice! Our hosts were incredibly nice and gave recommendations for sightseeing.
This was an amazing experience with lovely hosts, stunning views and comfortable large loft tastefully decorated with all the facilities we needed. We loved meeting Carys and Bill and they were so helpful with all the questions we had about the island. Location is ideal for rest and for visiting the beautiful Isle of Skye. Thoroughly recommended for holiday!
Angie is simply the loveliest hostess ever! She helped us find our way around Dunvegan, made sure we had everything we needed in our room, and also booked our dinner at a nearby, very popular restaurant. The setting in this place is stunning and also serene. I felt like we were at the end of the Earth and were also sheltered and comfortable.
This was a really fun home in which to stay. The home was decorated in a lovely way. It was clean, open, and had a ton of windows and light. The kitchen was fully equipped. The common areas were spacious. Bathrooms updated and well appointed. We would stay again if ever back in Skye.
Exceptional hospitality, Janice and Johnny went above and beyond with fresh bakes and homemade pizza. Even helping us dry our clothes after a very wet walk.
The pod is so cosy and has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It’s a great location to all the attractions of Skye.
This was our favorite place we stayed in Scotland. The cabins are really beautifully done and have a lovely view. They were a bit away from the rest of the crowds and we loved having that little break and our own quiet spot. We would absolutely book these again if we were back on Skye.
Excellent facilities, beutiful view, Extreemly helpful and freindly staff. Location was perfect with local eateries and places of interest within easy walking distance. Staff were happy to arrange reliable taxi to our night out at another local resturant.
Everything was great and the apartment has all the things you need for a comfortable stay. Location was great on the Isle of Skye. Sue and Warren prepared a delicious breakfast every morning to start our day right. Would recommend this place!
Beautifully renovated cottage! Great kitchen and bathrooms, cosy living room and nice big bedrooms. Heating worked well. Glorious views and incredibly peaceful, nice garden area. Would definitely stay here again if we ever visited Skye again.
Amazing experience and lovely staying. If you're scaping from massive tourism in Portree, this is your place!!! Is well connected with the whole Isle of Skye.
We received an exceptional treatment and attention.
150% recommended
The pods are nicely situated in a forested back yard close to the Dunvegan village. We stayed several nights traveled the whole of the isle of skye. I don't recommend more than 3 to a cabin really although you could fit 4.
Everything was top notch. The staff is attentive and friendly. The rooms were clean and had coffee, tea, and biscuits available. The breakfast was superb.
We had dinner at the hotel one evening and it was amazing.
It was very quite and cozy stay!
Our host welcomed us with a gorgeous dog Roger.
Amazingly clean and pretty house in very safe area. I would recommend to anyone who goes to skye :)
