Dirty Many vendors cannot understand “no”and follow us everywhere we we go nagging and nagging and very annoying. One followed us to our hotel another followed us to the restaurant. The market is not all that as Antigua has a market and Guatamala City has central market with equal products and food. I found out they charge more on Thursdays and Sundays because of the tourists. The local restaurants quality of food is terrible. We ate at San Juan and Las Brasas Not worth going to Chichicastenango.

Even the wooden furniture is authentic and beautifully carved. The room is spacious and I got a room with a view to the mountains. The staff are excellent and provide such great service and hospitality. The onsite breakfast and restaurant is really good. Instead of just visiting Chichi market for the day it is worth staying the night and being amongst the locals.CHUNGAustralia

We particularly liked the fireplace in our room that was lit on demand when the evenings got too cool. Overall the place is lovely with a beautiful patio (and even a couple of parrots), but - when we were there - pretty much empty.
