Very nice place, good facilities close by, you can cycle but car is better to get around as beaches and town a few kilometers from the camp site. Most Dutch speak good English so easy to communicate. Close to Amsterdam and the Hague, about 45 minutes by car away.

Wonderful beaches! I am sure I am getting back there! Noordwijk is an excellen place for one day trips to observe Amsterdam metroipolis. There is a lot of sightseeings around and that's why I would recommend to book plenty long stay there in order to see the surroundings.

I love the sea and dunes but I couldn't go there because of my disability. It was too far to walk to. Another time I need a place with sea view.
The hotel restaurant was closed but I ordered food through an app and it was brought to me in no time and very good.
On my next visit I hope to have my own transport so that I can go to the beach and dunes.

It's a small beach town which is easily reachable by public transport from Amsterdam Airport. The water was quite cold in April, so one couldn't really go in, but otherwise the beach was clean and enjoyable. You can definitely enjoy long walk along the water. There was a space walk kind of thing on the promenade where the different astronauts had their handprints engraved in tiles. There are lots of food options on and near the beach as well. However, the town goes to bed early. I couldn't find food one night around 9pm.

Famous place and great location for dinner at beach clubs/restaurants. I loved the dining options there and the chilled atmosphere - perfect for a longdrink at the beach after a sunny day.
I can recommend Nomad Beach Club and Tulum beach club.
Take a blanket and go to the beach before sunset and enjoy watching the kitesurfers in the evening.
Definitely would recommend to do a bike ride to Haarlem via the dunes or Leiden.
Finding parking lots might be difficult during summer days.

Noordwijk area is popular for congresses, especially the European Space Agency Technology Centre. I have stayed in some pretty dreary hotels further inland so decided to look for a better place myself. Ended up staying on the beach front in a very reasonably priced hotel. Plenty to do if you like walking. Note that overnight parking is free - the signs don't make that very clear to foreign visitors.

Always an amazing experience at Villa de Duinen. The best hotel in Noordwijk with the most friendly staff. They really make you feel welcome and go the extra mile. A short walk to the beach and free spa access are a big plus.
The breakfast is the best i've ever had. No crowded buffets but served at your table, everything made to order and fresh.
Great location across the street from the beach. Delicious breakfast w/fresh juices. Easily accessible & secure bike storage. Nice modern rooms and comfortable bed. Love the self-serve coffee & tea station. Friendly staff. We appreciate the ear plugs, as the website shared it wasn’t fully soundproof. Breakfast was amazing.
I stayed in this hotel many times, the rooms are clean and well maintained, wifi works well and the breakfast is good. Staff is also very efficient and polite. There is a bar downstairs and a kettle in every room - in general the facilities are fine. The location close to the beach is nice too.
the staff was so nice and friendly! the beach was a 2 minute walk away. 15 minute Drive to Keukenhof to see the tulip gardens. TONS of restraints on the beach walk. Would 100% stay again! The property has a game room/media room in the basement, it was so so nice for our family of 4 with kids.
The Hotel is located pretty good. The hotel staff was very kind. The breakfast was good and even with special dietary needs I was able to have a decent breakfast. My sister and I had this trip booked a few months ago and the hotel met our expectations.
Room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was well served, enough choice.
