Plenty of eating out places with good atmosphere especially McKay’s and Old Mill
Hettie’s coffee and cakes were delicious
Disappointed Scotland Spa Hotel did not do evening meals on a Sunday or Monday which was not stated on our booking.
Also the receptionist had to leave her post to make up our room and top up loo roll as room /bed was not made up that day

Pitlochry is a lovely small town with nice shops and lots of cafes and restaurants. There are lots of things to do from a visit to the lovely small theatre to the salmon leap. Loch Faskally is a lovely walk especially in the autumn and you can walk through the Pass of Killiecrankie to Queens view.
There are lots of places to stay within all price points.
Lots of wildlife such as red squirrels and lots of birds. Perthshire is famous for its golden and sea eagles. You can walk , cycle, white water raft nearby, great for all outdoor enthusiasts..
All in all it suits most people of all ages and intetests.

We stayed at a surprisingly good location by the river side with walking trails. Would have loved to stay longer. Pitlochry town was quiet pleasant with local shopping and plenty of eateries. Distillary tour and other local attractions also naerby
Absolutely everything... it was beyond our expectations...very luxurious with everything you could ever need...this beautiful accommodation has to be the cleanest I've ever stayed in...the shower was spacious and beautiful... lovely luxurious towels...great parking very close to the accommodation... location very quiet...very close to the town centre... lovely garden area with ample seating...we have stayed over in Pitlochry many times this has got to be our best so far... looking forward to returning soon for longer...
Lovely staff, very welcoming and accomodating. And the dog was such a cute addition too! The hotel is just 5 mins walk to the main road in Pitlochry, and easily accessible both via car and walk/public transport. Room was clean and the bathroom had a nice shower, a big bath and also heated floor. Tasty breakfast, and we particularly loved the fact that all the products were local, and the attention to sustainability was clearly visible.
The Arcasaid Hotel B &B in Pitlorchy blew my mind away, what a place, from the outside it did not look good! However, on entering front door the room was large, great beds, shower. Young lady on reception Lara, helped me carry our luggage in to the room! Breakfast was one of the best on our trip in Ireland & Scotland, gave us great directions to a great restaurant in Pitlochry, The Bridge was fantastic!
Beautiful hotel in a beautiful spot, great choice at breakfast (including poached eggs on request which made me very happy). Staff are so helpful and friendly. Room was very spacious and comfy and the bathroom was excellent. Very close to the shops and restaurants in Pitlochry and the local visitor attractions.
We didn't try the restaurant in the evening but certainly will next time.
We loved our stay at the Atholl Villa Guest House. James one of the owners is great to chat with, and he gave us a lot of tips around Scotland. This B&B is on the main street so easy to walk to all the shops, and we were offered the chance to park our car there for a few hours past check-out time which helped us explore Pitlochry. The breakfast was great and the room super comfortable.
Everything! McKays hotel is right at the heart of the picturesque town of Pitlochry, with all the shops and a lot of eateries at a stone's throw. We stayed in a superior room at the extension, which was recently renovated, spacious, and with a modern and sparkling clean bathroom. The personnel was very friendly and helpful. And the breakfast was just amazing!

5. Awesome walks through stunning countryside.
The Well House was very nice. Our room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious. Location is fantastic for exploring Pitlochry. John was a great host and helped us celebrate our honeymoon in a very kind and thoughtful way. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.
One of our favorite stays in Scotland. Such a nice rooms and a beautiful location. Everything within walking distance and a gorgeous town. The facility was comfortable and the beds were great and breakfast was excellent. I just wish we could’ve stayed longer.
Front facing room. Staff very helpful and attentive, hotel was clean, comfy beds, very good breakfast. Close to all amenities in Pitlochry, set back from main road, little to no traffic noise. My third or fourth visit to this hotel, I will use them again.
The location of the hotel is very good. As my son in law ran my daughter and myself up to Pitlochry for a few days and collected us we had no transport - that was the reason we wanted to be in the centre of the town. The meals were up to standard.
Breakfast was great, great selection of food. Pool was lovely. Staff all very friendly, David on the door that met us as we arrived was very welcoming and gave us a tour. Hotel gorgeously decorated, room very clean.
THE COOKED BREAKFAST WHICH WE HAD EVERY DAY OF OUR STAY WAS EXCELLENT, BREAKFAST SERVICE RATING WAS 5 STAR. THE GUEST HOUSE IS JUST MINUTES AWAY FOR MANY OF PITLOCHRYS ATTRACTIONS AND AMENITIES.
The in hotel restaurant was amazing, and the staff was incredibly kind and patient. Dinner and breakfast the following morning were both delightful, which can be harder to find as vegetarians.
