The room was comfortable and being able to walk around Wick, was good. We were very impressed and highly recommend that people check out the Wick heritage museum.

Very friendly and extremely helpful, we had an electricity issue, on New Year's Eve which was sorted very quickly by the owners. We are very happy with the service and will definitely be back.
Quiet location, very clean, lovely view. Value for money, highly recommend it.
Thank you Sharon, Steven and Mary for such a lovely experience.
Wishing you a wonderful 2024 🙏🎉🥰

The house was very fine, delightfully quirky and full of character reflecting its long family associations and interests. My hosts were charming to the extent I felt very much at home. I left with reluctance!

I have been to Wick many times because there is plenty to see and do.
This time we headed to John o Groats to the Puffin Croft Petting Farm which was such a joy.The lady who owns the farm is there to greet you and tell you about the goats, the sheep, the pigs, the donkeys, the rabbits and the Shetland pony - hope I haven't missed one!
One place you must look for is the shortest street in the world which is in Wick.

Wick itself is a pretty but windswept and deeply depressed town. There is not a great deal to do in March - the walk to the castle was nice although I was almost blown off my feet. I had half a day there which was more than enough time to do everything that was open in the town. I plan to go back and explore the surrounding area over a couple of days,

Wick is an interesting old town in an interesting part of Scotland. There are many archaeological sites around worth seeing. The town has lovely places to eat, a super museum and places to walk or even swim in open water.

Wick itself looked rather shabby in places (probably looks better at high tide) and was very quiet when we were there. It is a good stop-off when moving up the coast between Inverness and John O'Groats with an interesting castle on the coast just north and other archeological sites close by. It has a good Tesco with reasonably priced fuel and we found a good pizza take-away in the town centre.
The accommodation was good and as expected, but located in a deserted part of the town just back from the harbour. Ours was the only car parked on the road overnight but the area seemed very safe.

Wick is an awful run down town and the accommodation was a disgrace and certainly not as advertised and shall be requesting a refund for mis representation of property. This is not a hotel and certainly not an inn, just a room over a derelict shop
Rated as the best hotel in Wick so our expectations were high.
Food for evening meal and breakfast was excellent and service attentive.
Slightly disappointed with the room, very small, quite old furnishings. This we can live with however. The main issue was the heat, it was only 17 degrees outside but the hotel was very warm and there was no fans or A/C to bring this temperature down. Keeping the window open was not an option as the hotel is set beside the busy main road so traffic noise is loud all night!
Fantastic property! It actually exceeded our expectation. Clean, warm and nicely decorated house. It has everything we needed. Comfy beds, great kitchen and bathroom, TV, good wifi. Great location, quiet place, easy access, easy to park a car.
Keys in the lockbox - very useful if you are not sure what time you may arrive. Very good communication with the host -no problems at all. Definitely on our list, if we will be back to Wick one day.
Hotel was dog friendly, staff were all very friendly. Bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was excellent plenty to choose from.
Dinner menu was excellent and food great, staff couldn't do any more for you making sure we had everything we needed while eating in resident lounge as we had the dog with us and making sure we had water for the dog and treats.
The Fisherman’s Cottage is a very spacious, well stocked apartment. It’s in a very quiet location and within walking distance to the city center.
Wick turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our Scotland trip. It’s worth exploring on foot. There are numerous hidden trails and lots of eating spots. TFC is perfectly located to check it all out.
Excellent stay here for one night as we toured the NC 500, twin room much bigger than expected at the back of the property so nice and quiet. Spacious bathroom too. Breakfast cooked to order and served in the front room. They recommended the Queens Hotel for dinner a short walk along the road and that was excellent too.
A beautiful holiday home in a lovely part of Scotland, with so much to see whatever the weather. We chose this cottage as we wanted somewhere special for our 25th wedding anniversary and it had it all!! It's very comfortable, well equipped, spacious and the hosts were excellent. Class and luxury!!
Having lived near Wick when younger, it is good to see that parts of the town that were very run down, starting to return into use. Our Ukrainian friends enjoyed their whole experience and are starting to appreciate Scotland's diversity. Keep up the good work.
Breakfast was huge and cooked to order. Extremely quiet and though small, the room was all we needed. It was the cleanest place I’ve stayed and that says a lot in Scotland! Louise was an excellent hostess and we enjoyed her company.
The house can easily accommodate up to 3 couples and 1 single individual. The house is very cosy and very well located to visit the North Scotland area. The wifi was very good and can be accommodate remote working.
this was b&b number 5 of the trip and by far the best . Owner was personal and asked us our names. Room and en-suite felt like a hotel level. best tv all trip. shower was fab. bed very comfortable.

Great location to help explore tip of the Easternmost part of Scotland. Kitchen lovely and new. Beds very comfortable. Lovely tartan comfortable carpet. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
Excellent location overlooking Wick harbour. A well equipped flat close to town centre, with good cooking facilities and a comfortable lounge. Great communication with host.
