Wonderful, welcoming, comfortable setting. Spotless, quaint, decorated with farming artifacts and impressive stone work that made me feel like I was living in a castle.
The owners and staff were kind and hospitable. The restaurant and cafe offered a good selection of meals and beverages. I loved my dinner and torta Santiago (almond cake) for dessert. It was the first proper meal I’ve sat down to enjoy in over a week.
Breakfast was a wonderful surprise with Donuts and Croissants - Casera!! I had one of each with my coffee and also bought a rain cape plus some souvenir pins from their nice selection.
That rain cape will come in handy now that the snow has given way to warmer temperatures and rain.
I look forward to returning here in other seasons to see the lush green valleys. Feeling grateful to have stayed in such a gorgeous property and setting out in the morning to take the path less travelled.

Clean hostel-- bathroom was clean and beds were comfortable. There were washers/dryers and a common space. Fillobal is a very small, but beautiful town! There is a great restaurant right next to the hostel!

Loved the huge space and balcony to sit and also more importantly to dry the laundry. We got in early from the Camino and took advantage of the nearby laundry . Bud worked perfectly in the morning to return to the Camino. Had to taxi for mass but the mass is special and should not be missed for the pilgrims.

The casa is wonderfully designed down to every detail. Modern and comfortable!! Our favorite sleep on the Camino. I needed to do laundry and there is an automated and beautiful laundry facility on site!!! I had the choice of using a line or a dryer. The hostess is extremely kind and so very welcoming. Our best stay on the Camino. The food was fresh, homemade and delicious.

The people who received us were friendly and helpful. We had 2 bikes that needed secure storage and they helped us lock them in the garage and were available to help us get them out the next morning. There was also an attached restaurant that was basic but convenient to get to.
