Cute town with lots of paths to explore, shops to go in, and restaurants to enjoy. Views were incredible and sunsets a must. Trip to the crater was fun. Hot springs aren't hot. Beaches were difficult to walk on. Would have liked to spend more time in Oia. Buses are comfortable but crowded.

We had a blast exploring the entire island.
We had a blast exploring the entire island. We came during their winter when temperatures were 55-59 F, and for the first few days, had little sunshine and lots of wind. We definitely needed our warm jackets, and bought gloves and a hat. However, the last few days were sunny and delightful. Best thing was, there were no crowds, anywhere, in January. We are photographers, and delighted in the photos everyone comes to Santorini to get, without having to work around the crowds. We rented a small Fiat Panda from Sixt, and it took us up the switchbacks to Ancient Thera, down to Akrotiri to the ruins, up to Oia and around the island to multiple small towns to explore and photograph. We found some "local" restaurants that were open and filled, and sampled wonderful Greek food. It was a wonderful time, and we would come again in January to avoid the crowds!

Santorini is such a wonderful island.
Santorini is such a wonderful island. And Fira is such a great place to stay given that it is centrally located between Akrotiri and Oia, and not too far from the airport. Weather was fantastic for November. We were only a few blocks from the bus station which has buses running to all parts of the island fairly frequently (helps to avoid taxis which tend to charge a bit much). The sunsets from both Fira and Oia were magical, as are the walks along the charming streets of both towns.

Santorini is no longer a relaxing vacation spot.
Santorini is no longer a relaxing vacation spot. Five cruise ships were in port and, therefore, pedestrian streets were so crowded in Fira and Oia that you could barely move. I visited in 2011, which was nice. Friends warned me not to return in 2023 because of crowding but I disregarded their advice. They were right. Santorini would be wise to strictly limit the number of cruise ships. If you go there, try to schedule your visit when there are no ships in port. The day we left there were no ships and strolling around was actually a pleasure. It's a beautiful island - but overcrowded.

Yes it is touristic therefore easy accessibility to anywhere on the island. Lots of shops and eateries, easy to walk around Fira on foot. We didn't need a car there. Walked and also took buses to Oia and the airport. Many restaurants to explore.
The view is breathtaking, the hotel is unique, the room is perfect. Different breakfast every morning, homemade Greek food accompanied by fresh orange juice. The staff makes you feel welcome every moment. The location couldn't be better. Everything is new, elegant through typical Greek simplicity. The best hotel I've ever stayed in. I can't imagine a better location and environment in Santorini. Is quiet and private and in 1 min you are in the location where everything happens in Fira
The location of this hotel was excellent, just a 5 minute walk to main square and 10 minute to the views of the caldera. The staff at this hotel were very friendly, attentive and helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and the pool area was really lovely and relaxing. We had the breakfast one morning of our stay. It was delicious and we were able to pick the items we wanted from a menu. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to base yourself in Fira to explore Santorini!
Our stay in Divino Suites was a dream. Located so close to the centre of Fira while having the same amenities as luxury hotels that we saw along the caldera at extortionate prices. The staff were so friendly and accommodating and went above and beyond for us. We loved the sunbeds and jacuzzi, the fabulous bed and bathroom - fair to say we were very sad to leave! We would highly recommend Divino Suites for a beautiful time in Santorini!
The room was absolutely stunning! The view was breathtaking with the balcony and jacuzzi overlooking the Santorini’s Caldera! The decoration was beautiful with a comfortable bed and awesome shower.
Breakfast was amazing, they would serve it daily in your room so you could eat at your balcony while enjoying the view - you couldn’t have a better experience.
The location was very good, walking distance from the center of Fira.
We stayed here for 1 night but the hotel was immaculate and very well kept. You are right in the heart of Fira! If you are not wanting to spend a lot of money, are not worried about Cliff Side views, and just need a nice place to stay, this is the perfect place for you! You are 1-2 minute walk away from the Santorini Iconic Views, and you do not have to pay $400-$500 to enjoy them.
facing the east side this hotel is a basic one. however for the price it delivered what it promised. a nice big room and a big breakfast spread on the eastern terrace. not too far from bus station of fira. stay there if you dont want to burn a hole in your pocket and still enjoy Santorini. they also arranged a pickup car for us from the airport during late check in.
We chise this hote for our last night in Santorini before flying back home and were therefore looking at something close to the airport. Wonderful pool area, excellent restaurant, very comfortable bed. Good hotel for young party people but as a couple I would choose rather a bigger room or a hotel outside of Fira.
Staff was kind, welcoming and helpful.
Location was perfect. Less than a 5 minute walk to the town of Fira. Property was so beautiful! Pool was so unique and fun. Our private hot tub overlooked the ocean. Bright white buildings which made it feel Santorini all the way. Staff was very accommodating, helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling to Fira.
You could hardly ask for a better situated hotel in Fira, Santorini — the views are spectacular, and the hotel is convenient for the main shopping and restaurant area of Fira. Rooms are clean, comfortable and a good size. They serve an excellent breakfast — not a buffet, as in many Greek hotels. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Located in Fira centre, close to shops and restaurants, bus station and free parking spaces, yet separate from city noise. Comfy and nicely designed, Santorini-style villas with private jacuzzi and shared pool (although it was like private, because there are just a couple villas). Very helpful and nice staff. Highly recommended.
the location is perfect because is very close to fira center ( walking distances about 3 minutes) and to the bus stop that take you to oia or another city yo want to visit
the room clean, king bed, balcony, a fridge
the social areas super nice
if a come back santorini ill go back kalisti hotel no doubt
Everything was excellent at Villa Anto. Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and beautiful hotel with a view on the sea and a small pool. Very good location – about 10 min walking distance to the Fira centre. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is coming to Santorini!
Too bad to have spent only two nights in this very clean and welcoming hotel in a convenient location to reach the centre of Fira on foot.
It was just a hit and run to Santorini but if I return I would stay at this hotel again.
I loved cats who welcomed us at reception.
Hotel Location is close to Fira Main Bus Station. The bus from the ferry port brings everyone to this station. Where they can remain in Fira or take a bus to other towns/cities on Santorini. The bus schedules are posted on the small building at this station.
Most co-operative staff I ever seen, they give me check in 8 hours before check in time.
Best hotel, best location, neat & clean, free coffee/tea any time, if anybody is in Santorini/fira....this is best place to stay, all credit goes to there staff.
The hotel is very close to central Fira and the bus station which made it very easy to get anywhere on Santorini. Luca was super helpful and gave us lots of good tips. Breakfast was also great and the general facilities were good. Highly recommend!
Miss Irene is such a sweetheart! Even gave me a Santorini map, the hotel felt like a home, very clean and its very close to Fira’s main square and the bus stop is right there too! Very comfortable
The location of Atlantis Hotel is one of the best on Santorini. Overlooking the bay with exceptional sunset views. The terrace where you can enjoy your breakfast offers the and view.
