Gardiner is a very small town and completely tourist related. Not enough restaurants, though we were a bit after "season". Hotel was really good. Gardiner is convenient to the north side of Yellowstone. The NE entrance is closer to Lamar Valley but the town there is even smaller

Sleepy country town located at the North Yellowstone entrance. Great for access to northen areas for wildlife sightings. Bison, Bear, Wolf, Coyote, Elk everywhere. Food varieties are somewhat limited. Mostly American fare, quite pricey and not that great. For relaxation, I highly recommend Yellowstone Hot Springs a few miles out of town. Inexpensive and a class act!

The views were beautiful! Our room was great.
The views were beautiful! Our room was great. We met many friendly people there. Mostly its location just outside Yellowstone NP made this a wonderful place for our vacation. There were tons of shops and restaurants but we didn't have time to stay because we were travelling to Yellowstone.

We loved the location, the scenery, and the size of the cabin. Having 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms was wonderful! The light bulbs in the majority of the home could be a little brighter as it was difficult to read in the late afternoon and evening. Adding TV's in at least two of the bedrooms would be a big plus so we all didn't have to watch the same TV program. The picture of the home on the website showed a telescope on the front deck, but it wasn't there when we arrived. I could have used the telescope to see the beautiful stars at night, and the wildlife on the ridge of the mountains.

I loved the hot springs.
I loved the hot springs. Also close to Yellowstone Park, which I explored some. I've been to the area many times and only live a couple of hours away in Idaho, but occasionally it is nice to stay there.

Our visit was just overnight, but the time we had there and the slow drive through town made us wish we had a least an extra few days to stay in town. Plenty of outdoor activities and a charming town to explore as well.
Extremely clean and well maintained. Felt like a new building. Unusually large rooms. Rooms are serviced only on request, but trash bins were clean and thoughtfully placed close to rooms to facilitate tidying. Good lighting. Wide balconies with stupendous views.... Great place to sit and have meals, socialise. Good WiFi. Not dark and claustrophobic like most motels. Quiet part of town. Elk in car park. Responsive staff. Way beyond expectations. Would stay again.
The worst hotel I have ever stayed in America. Carpet stank, lift stank and rattled, no breakfast even after booking.com saying breakfast was included, rude staff at reception, lights not working in the room, no proper body lotion or cream provided, I can add more. We were visiting Yellowstone National park and expected more from this stay. At $203 per night it was not a cheap booking either!!
very clean and spacious room with nice wooden furniture, very comfi beds and a lovely mountain view; seemed all very new; I also liked the direct entrance from a small porch and the complimentary pastries and coffee in the morning;
very close (walking distance) to most shops and restaurants in Gardiner and to Yellowstone National Park (North entrance); sufficient parking space
The owner met us in reception and the cabin was as expected. The nice touch was his attitude, helpful when we borrowed some DVD's and when we broke our bottle opener. The property is very near a food store and this town is very expensive when eating out. So we took ther opportunity to eat in and it was great. Very close to the park entrance. Book it , you wont be dissapointed.
Loved everything about it. The owners have gone above and beyond with the property and facilities. Every little detail was just perfect. Cleanliness was higher than most of the 5 star hotel/lodges we have stayed in. The campfire banter with the other guests was lovely to finish the day. Couldn’t rate this experience highly enough.
We rented a 1bd/sofa pull out suite with kitchen. Perfect for our 2 small kids and a great vacay to Yellowstone. We enjoyed the walk down to the river, the deck overlooks, nice guests and walked all over Gardiner. Easy parking and overall 10/10 would return and for longer if it wasn’t so hard on the pocketbook.
Perfect location for Yellowstone park. Gardiner is a cool little town with great views. Hotel design and decor are great for the area it is in. Every single staff member was helpful and friendly. If I ever make it back to Gardiner the Antler is where I stay and recommend to others going to Gardiner.
Because there are two million visitors each year to Yellowstone, there are very few hotels, campgrounds, etc., designed to house that level of guests. This place was run down, dingy, dusty but there are not many choices of places to stay, so you are forced to take the good with the not so good.
❤️I absolutely love the inside, they thought of everything for a comfortable stay. The bathroom is large. There is a few plates, cups and silverware as well.
Outside your door is a loveseat to sit and enjoy the view.
Great job! I will be back in the near future.
We stayed during the big flood in Yellowstone. All roads out of Gardiner were impassable. The staff and especially the manager, were untiring in their support at a very difficult time.
The king room is definitely comfy and cozy. I'm sleeping good enough that I feel like I'm home. Never write reviews for hotels but will definitely recommend this one.
