The property was close to everything! They were very dog friendly, only about 6 minutes from a dog park and coffee shops (at least in the off season lol) the pool and hot tub worked great. People were making sure it was clean every few days! Each staff person we ran into was awesome. They also had breakfast in the morning that saved us money.
This hotel features an indoor heated pool, hot tub, and rooms with cable TV with HBO. Door County Maritime Museum & Lighthouse is 1 mile from AmericInn Lodge & Suites Sturgeon Bay.

The entrance was warm and welcoming. They had a very pleasant set-up for coffee and tea. Unfortunately, they didn't take care of it very well as the hot water was slightly warm at best.

Fun place to stay. This was our 2nd time. The owners and staff are welcoming and helpful. I will be back. The main street is a block away with lots of fun shops and places to eat. We were able to leave our car and just walk which felt very relaxing.

This has got to be the most adorable friendly motel with exceptionally clean rooms and friendly ladies that made my stay enjoyable! I highly recommend this little quaint motel bc it's comfortable and has a kitchenette and comfortable beds! I can't say enough good about the establishment except don't waste your money going elsewhere.... Private entrance to each room and very quiet! Save me a room, please! I'll be back! Thank you all so much!

Fireplace was nice, overall the room was cozy. Liked the big bathroom and large size of the shower. Kitchen was cute and the breakfast setup was great. Overall, a great experience, good communications and directions for coming and accessing the room. Parking was easy and closeby. Early morning coffee was nice, tasted good- thank you!! Other spots werew snowed in though. Would recommend.

Door county is a beautiful place to visit. Relaxing and the scenery is breathtaking. Plenty of restaurants, vineries and craft breweries. Sturgeon Bay is a beautiful area but we spent half of our time elsewhere.

We could not have asked for a better experience than we had at the Scofield House. The hosts were wonderful, kind and helpful. The room was lovely and the food delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the lighthouses and going to the Maritime museum. Wish we had time to shop at the Thursday sidewalk sales.

We enjoyed a fish fry at Waterfront Marys.
We enjoyed a fish fry at Waterfront Marys. Great location and food. The views are amazing. Lots of little shops downtown & only about a 40 min drive to the edge of the peninsula, to sisters bay and less to the rest of the harbors. Worth a trip here.

The fall colors were just beginning to show their brilliance...
The fall colors were just beginning to show their brilliance, we had delightful meals at Mike's Bar and Grill in Jacksonport, loved the skyline view at Peninsula State park, which also was a beautiful drive. Visited Eagle Bluff lighthouse and enjoyed shopping in multiple towns on the peninsula.
The breakfast breads / muffins were very good. The breakfast of baked goods and fruit and coffee was fine considering the COVID restrictions. The breakfast was delivered right on time.
The room and the bed were comfortable. The hooks in the little closet area were very sufficient instead of a wardrobe.
The location was very good for our stay in Sturgeon Bay. The neighborhood was nice and quiet.
There wasn't interaction with the staff but this was to be expected with COVID considerations.
I really loved the comfort of the house, it felt like home. The place was nice and I had no issues whatsoever. I really recommend this house if anyone is looking for a safe place to stay. It was my first time staying at place other then a hotel but overall great experience. The location isn't far from other popular places either and there's a lot to enjoy! I loved that they provided board games because what's better then a game night with your family!
We were so happy with our stay here - this was a little gem! The owners were very nice and the rooms were clean and very quiet. In fact this is the quiet side of the peninsula but that suited us just fine! The hotel is right on the beach front and there is a little coffee shop too for the mornings. There was plenty to do in the area or you can drive easily to other villages. I can see this being a place we will come again and again!
I love cedar crossing because the atmosphere was exactly like my home very cozy very warm. During my stay the dining room and bar were not open but the breakfast room was well stocked with breakfast items of all types. The staff was exceptionally pleasant. I was greatly pleased with the location of the end it is on the main Street in downtown sturgeon Bay what could be better!
The room itself was ok and relatively clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Room had plenty of space, refrigerator and microwave - also a shared deck/balcony. Carpet and vinyl flooring in the room looked relatively new. Location provides easy access to downtown Sturgeon Bay and Highway 42.
We stayed in Yurts at Tranquil Timbers in Sturgeon Bay.
The cozy and well-equipped yurts are amazing. The campground's serene location and friendly staff make it an ideal choice for a peaceful getaway more specifically during weekdays since the camping was very quiet. Highly recommended.
I really appreciated being able to bring my dog and sit outside on the lake in a swing. It was a quiet, the fall foliage was beautiful and overall relaxing time. The location is on the southern in of Sturgeon Bay but was a great for an October visit.
This is a quirky, quaint hotel across four 19thC properties, furnished in an eclectic but impeccable style. Dennis our host was friendly and informative. The breakfasts were splendid and taken in company with other guests.
We loved this charming hotel, and the location was awesome! Very walkable to many restaurants, shops, and the waterfront. It's retro feel is very authentic, some original touches. We'd definitely stay again.
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the hotel just really beautiful. The room was spacious and comfy. For all of us it was definitely one of the best hotel experiences we had in recent years.
We always love staying at Holiday music hotel! It's a really fun throwback spot. It's beyond clean, the staff is so nice and welcoming. I can't say enough positive things about this adorable hotel!✌🏼
The house is in an optimal location in Sturgeon Bay.
The hosts, Janet and Karl, are very friendly and accommodating.
We enjoyed the stay there very much and would stay there again at any time.
It was perfect for what we wanted to do over the weekend, and love that it was right next to a park for hiking. Sturgeon Bay is a beautiful town especially in the fall!
