Jasmine was absolutely lovely. Very nice, very attentive, helpful and informative. The cottage was spotless! And the bed was the first sufficiently firm, comfortable bed I’ve slept in throughout this trip! The location is beautiful!

We stayed two nights. Clean, modern, and quiet rooms with a nice amount of space in a separate building from the reception and dining room. Owner / manager Branka is a delightful and friendly host who met us on arrival and served us breakfast and dinner. She was so nice to us! Dinner was simple but excellent, finished with Branka’s homemade cherry cordial. She also made the delicious preserves served at breakfast. We highly recommend this B&B.

The property is right next to a stream and surrounded by woods - beautiful! It was super easy to enter with a lock box, and the host Georgie was helpful, present, and accommodating. He even drove us down to the main resort lodge for dinner our first night since we had arrived right around the dinner hour. You can rely on google maps to get there, but when you get closer to the cabin the roads are dirt/gravel and not clearly labeled, so be sure to drive slowly and watch the map you'll get there just fine. Yeti Cabin itself has a very clear sign. I wish we could've stayed longer!

The owners are the best thing about this B&B! Fabulous hosts!! We love our stay with them and it felt like home. The location is also fantastic since you can walk from there to the 3 entrance to the lakes, where others don't enter. We stayed 2 nights so we could have an early start and hiked the whole day. The food was wonderful and we ate dinner both nights there in the outdoor patio. They also made a beautiful fire to sit around after dinner. The rooms are fairly basic but very comfortable. We were 3 couples and everyone loved our stay here.

It's the best place if you want to walk Plitvice Lakes park, in my case I stayed 3 days because I like walking almost every path 😊. If you're a fast walker you can do the park in just one day but it's better to take your time, that place is dreamy. Plitvica Selo is a tiny location where you can go to the park via entrance #3 where you can avoid loooooong lines waiting.

The location is amazing.
The location is amazing. The lookout at the top of the main park waterfall is a short walk from the premises. The quiet serenity of the area is remarkable. Getting up early for a walk in the misty paths was a true treasure.
The room is truly comfortable and homely with all amenities required. Host Ante is a great cook and also shared ideas and things to do with our upcoming stays in Split, Hvar and Dubrovnik, which helps a lot in especially choosing a restaurant.
I would truly recommend this stay. It is a great location.

Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops...
Plitvice Selo is just a couple of houses without any shops but mostly cottages/apartments for rent, but with a few restaurants. It is very close to entrance 3 (15 minutes by foot), so you do not need the car for your stay. From entrance 3 you can either walk or take the boat to the other end (included in the daily pass of the national park - book in advance!). It is a lot less touristic, but this also means you will not find many places to buy food (even inside the park) or eat in, hence a good accommodation which provides this is very helpful.

Plitvica selo is a small village right next to the P3 entrance of the Plitvice lakes. It is a quite village in nature without any stores. There are only a few places you can eat or have a drink within walking distance. For more choices you need a car. It maybe difficult to be in Plitvica selo without a car. Great place for outdoor activities such as walking, hiking and biking.

This small village was originally a dairy farming community...
This small village was originally a dairy farming community tucked away in a small glen among the mountains of Plitvice National Park. A few miles off the main highway, it is accessed by a lightly trafficked country road with occasional breathtaking views of the canyon below and the river flowing out of the Plitvice Lakes. The inns, in keeping with UNESCO rules, are the original historic farm buildings, which have been renovated on the interior. The inns are within walking distance of a lesser known and lightly used third entrance to the park, from which one can begin exploring this beautiful National Park.

Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes.
Beautiful place in the heart of the beautiful lakes. We stayed here while it was raining which did not stop us from enjoying beautiful sceneries and nature overall. We bought raincoats for decent price easily. Definitely coming back for nicer weather. Place is the heaven.
Milica who was our contact at the property was very helpful and obliging in the lead-up to us arriving and then in helping organise a breakfast-to-go for the morning we wished to enter the National Park early. The breakfast and dinners were fine for a small clientele. The rooms were clean and in quaint chalets. We loved that there was a walk that you could do to lookouts from the accomodation without having to enter the park but also that we could walk to an unofficial entrance to Plitvice Lakes National Park easily from the hotel.
Beautiful and serene. Staff incredibly friendly. Got there in the evening after a long day of adventure and travel, and was so excited to find that they had beer and wine for sale. Decent dinner at another B&B was a quick walk away. Walking distance to entrance 3 which takes you directly to the boat. I had read that entrance 3 was an illegal entrance. However, there was a ranger they’re scanning tickets and we had no problem walking in. Would 100% stay here over the park hotels
Nena makes a nice breakfast like yogurt, prosciutto, cheese, bread, marmalade and eggs. The house is near the overlooks of the canyon and is walking distance to the Flora entrance of Plitvice. As long as you have a prepurchased ticket from entrance 1 (or 2?) you can enter the park there. Easy as that. You enter and head to P3, which is the boat across Kozjac lake. Continue with the rest of Route C until you are back at P3 to walk home to Nena’s
The chalet looks amazing. It is placed directly in the middle of National Park. This means you don't need to drive anywhere with the car and you can enter the park nearby. Hosts were AMAZING. Very kind, polite, always smiling. Our room was very spacious and well equipped. Parking is free of charge and right in front of the chalet. Internet is also very good. I would recommend this to anyone and next time will come back again.
Such warm and genuine people, really made us feel special. Strongly recommend. Just not the park entrance is close but is gate 3, but you have to buy your tickets at gate 1 or 2 and that is 220 minutes away, so go to ticket office and buy ticket and have them scanned (must check in gate 1 or 2 for first enterance) and then you can enter park from enterance close to hotel.
Perfect location in Plitvica Selo close to the P3 entrance to the park. We received great advice and tips from Leo that made all the difference to our experience (thank you!). Delicious food and home made drinks served by Ante. Such welcoming and friendly hosts that made us feel so looked after. We would definitely choose it again next time.
Very friendly and helpful staff, went out of their way to accommodate our needs. Room and hotel was very nice. Location was good, just a 15-min walk to the Plitvice Lakes park entrance (just make sure you buy your tickets in advance!) Also, it was a very peaceful and quiet location too.
This is a lovely rustic hotel within easy walking distance of Plitvica park entrance number 3, and ideal place to begin and end a tour of the park on foot, bus and boat. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The evening meal was delicious and convivial.
The location was good - close to the park. We were a little confused however, as there are two hotels which have names that are very similar. Make sure you go to Ethno Houses (plural) and not Etno House. The food was also fine, although nothing spectacular.
Parked car near our room and did not move it until leaving. Nearby access to Gate 3 entry allowed us to spend two full days exploring the park. We were sent off with a plentiful breakfast and came back to delicious dinners prepared by our wonderful hosts.
Location, location, location. The third entrance to the Park, which is not "officially" commented on, is right next to the hotel and makes the location fantastic. You do not need to drive once you are there, as the restaurant is also great.
Stunning location. Peaceful. Setup in a way you feeling your visiting an old friend as opposed to a hotel. Yet had all the amenities of a hotel. And the food is amazing!
Amazing experience. This (the hotel and the lakes) was a highlight of our visit to Croatia! The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was great.
