We highly recommend this B & B!! Our room was spacious, the king size bed was comfortable and the bathroom was large and well equipped with everything we could need. The morning breakfasts were delicious as well. The grounds were beautiful, peaceful and very relaxing. The chateau and the surrounding property was very unique . Veronique was a very gracious host!!

City is near Amboise, actually everything is near each other...
City is near Amboise, actually everything is near each other as long as you have transportation (rental car or bike). Good to use the Chateau as your base in exploring nearby areas. From our location, we visited Chenonceau, Clois de Lois, and Château Amboise. We were even able to visit wineries (caves) and had a great food choices (ask Veronique for some suggestions).

This is a unique lodging being a 14th century chateau.
This is a unique lodging being a 14th century chateau. The grounds are extensive but it only has 7 guests rooms. The hosts were warm and friendly. Breakfasts were included and excellent. They are completing construction on a new suite that is entirely within the limestone cliff/cave.
I liked the fact that I stayed here two weeks previously and complained that the pillows were far too thick, very uncomfortable to rest your head.
I arrived yesterday to find that I had been specially provided new, much thinner pillows which were very comfy.
I had an excellent nights sleep and did not have a stiff neck next morning.
Now that is exceptional customer service, provided by a hotel and staff that go the extra mile to ensure its clients have a wonderful stay.
Formidable !
Staying at the chateau was an overall amazing experience. The owners are such exceptional hosts with so much attention to every detail - both on a personal level (with lots of good talks and great recommendations for the area) and in terms of the thoughtful design of the whole place (felt like staying in an architecture magazine).
Breakfast was simply incredible.
The popertywas such a charming 500 year old Château. Véronique was so nice and hospitable. We loved it. The location was so convenient and close to where we needed to be. The breakfast was out of this world. Every bite was fresh and delicious, homemade and right out of the garden and organic. It was such a treat. Everything was wonderful.
This is what travelling through France and staying in lovely boutique hotels is all about! We were five men on motorcycles for only one night but the owner greeted us and showed us about like we were treasured guests! The property is just lovely, and spotlessly clean. A GREAT spot for a family with the 2br guest cottage.
The property was nestled in a beautiful area and was perfect for our plans to visit chateaux and relax. We loved taking a bottle of wine with a baguette and cheese into one of the lovely gardens, sometimes by ourselves and other times joined by others who were staying there. The whole stay was wonderful!
A beautifully restored mill in a peaceful rural setting - a very relaxing stay. Our room was spacious and exceptionally clean. Breakfast was good and was served in a lovely dining area. Parking on the premises was easy - the hotel is well situated for visiting Amboise and Tours.
We were welcomed at this very charming chateau by it’s owner, Veronique. Her attention to details translates into a very comfortable stay. We loved the elegant breakfasts set in a very elegant room. Highly recommended. If your seeking French country charm, look no further.
