This was our second visit to Atrani, we love it. Out of the hustle and bustle of Amalfi but just a ten minute walk to get there. The piazza in Atrani has a good selection of restaurants and cafes to choose from. Swimming is at hand and very safe. It is such a beautiful little town, its locals are friendly and will answer any questions. Note, the Sidi bus schedule does not run to normal schedule on public holidays like All Saints’ Day. Information around public transport can be difficult to find out so do your research before leaving home.

Atrani is away from the crowds, but close enough to walk to some of the other villages. The buses went straight past the apartment or you could catch from Amalfi. The restaurants in Atrani are fabulous, Savo and A'Paranza were our favourites. The little shops in the Square provided fruit, fish, bread, water, drinks and there was a fabulous little gelati shop. But most of all we loved a little cafe that we went to every afternoon for drinks, that was right on the water. Bar Nettuno is run by Andrew and is a great spot to chill out and watch the boats come and go.

The area falls in the centre of Amalfi.
The area falls in the centre of Amalfi. Everything was really close from here. Surroundings were very pretty and touristy as well. Location was perfect :) just sad that we only found Italian cuisine here. (since I’m a vegetarian ) so got a bit tired of eating pastas and pizzas for every meal :(

Atrani is a little town well located to amalfi. It has a beach but you can also got to the amalfi by walk. There is a tunnel between amalfi and atrani 900 meters long. and also atrani has a little square includes market, bar, restoran. And also there is a michelin guided restoran there. we have experienced and it was really lovely.

We arrived in Salerno from Rome.
We arrived in Salerno from Rome. We thought we would be able to get a taxi/Uber to Atrani, but there were not any available. The easiest way was to take the ferry, which took about 35 minutes and it was a pretty view during the ride!
Leaving Atrani, we took van early in the morning and the winding roads made two of our three kids car sick, so the ferry is way to go if possible and is way cheaper.
Overall, Atrani was good and we enjoyed our time there. Most restaurants do not open for dinner until around 19:30, so if you have young kids it is good to keep in mind! It is easy to walk around throughout Almafi and Atrani.

Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip.
Atrani is the best stay for an Amalfi coast trip. It’s walking distance to the buzzing and touristy Amalfi, but it’s quiet, local, and quaint. There are amazing restaurants a cute beach and all you need while still being close and connected to the rest of the coast. I really recommend it.
Geanluca is a phenomenal and caring owner! The place is beautiful in a great location! Every detail is thought out. Overlooking the town square. Steps from food, the beach and a 5 min walk to the hustle and bustle of Amalfi town. Loved staying there. Preferred Atrani over the Positano zoo!! Don't get me wrong, Positano is beautiful, but insanely busy and absurdly expensive for Heaven knows why... Too many people on an overcrowded beach. The scenery is nice, but we got more out of Amalfi.
Our favorite stay out of the five places we stayed in Italy. The host provides everything you need and way more. The kitchen was fully stocked, food, wine, beach towels, umbrella, washing powder, first aid. the beds were so comfy and the AC worked great. it’s in a great location. You will have to haul your luggage up and down stairs so pack light. Atrani is the perfect location to stay in. Quite and a quick walk through the tunnel to Amalfi. the picture is right outside the room.
Charming small hotel in lovely Atrani, just 10 minutes walk from the very crowded and touristy Amalfi. Nice old world decoration, modern bathroom, comfy bed to be lulled into sleep by the sound of the waves. Proprietor very helpful with flexible check in when our transport plans changed, and responded quickly to messages about this and directions.
We loved our stay in Hotel L'Argine Fiorito. We will definitely stay here again in the future. It is lovely, cozy hotel run by a family. They helped us arrange a transport to hotel. It is very clean and quiet but you can walk to Atrani center in 3 minutes. Breakfast was good, had variety, fresh fruits, yogurt, cheese, pastries etc.
Antonella was super nice and always available. The apartment is perfect, perfect location and super comfortable with the best balcony. We loved Atrani, Marco's gelatos and Le Palme pizzaria. Only 10min walking from Amalfi (where are all the buses and ferries to the main points) with awesome views in the walk.
Accommodation was very nice; very clean; location was convenient for the quiet area of Atrani and just a few minutes walk to the bustling area of Amalfi; having a washing machine was a nice amenity; and the host (Jacqueline) was very cordial and helpful with directions.
Atrani is a 15 min walk from Amalfi which made everything perfect for staying away from the congestion of Positano and Amalfi. The hotel was clean, and the staff amazing! Near amazing and affordable restaurants as well.
Would definitely stay here again for the value.
It's very close main Atrani beach and city center. All Imp things are near by. Sandra was very helpful. She bought Milk, bread and eggs for us as we were supposed to reach at night. She helped us with our bags.
Cute apartment, equipped with all necessities
The hotel had great views as it overlooked the water. It was close to the public beaches located in Atrani. The public tunnel to get between Atrani and Amalfi town was close enough to make it simple to walk back between the two cities for dinner.
The host is very nice and helpful, the location is excellent (only 1 minute walk from the beach, 10 minute walk from Amalfi's main street, a quiet place clear of the crowds). The apartment is clean, well equipped and very homey.
the property is set in beautiful atrani up the hill with a gorgeous terrace, room was very clean and comfortable, the breakfast was plentiful and staff always smiling , short walk to beach , must explore the streets of atrani
A beautiful location with soft beds and wonderful balcony views. Easy check in process and not a long walk to the main Piazza in Atrani. We very much enjoyed staying here :)
The location was perfect, just a few minutes walk from the town of amalfi. Two small convenience stores can be found in the atrani square very close to the apartment.
I enjoyed the atmosphere of the hotel. The breakfast was really good. However the place was very clean and the shower was nice. Honestly not much more that was good
Although there were a lot of steps haha! It was located in the heart of Atrani and we walked to Amalfi town every day with no worry. Lovely little spot!
very convenient location: close to restaurants, beach and only 10 mins walk to Amalfi downtown through tunnel. breakfast at big terrace with nice view.
