Beautiful B&B in a beautiful setting with olive fields and citrus trees on the property. Possible to go on hikes directly from the property. Very friendly staff. Big nice rooms with all amenities needed.

Exactly what I imagined Tuscany to be... beautiful scenery, ancient architecture, picturesque old villages and friendly people. You will need a car to get around and the hillside roads can be a bit hair raising but it all adds to the atmosphere. It’s a great place to base yourself for day trips to Lucca, Pisa and Florence but also perfect for quiet days by the pool.

The breakfasts were very good also with a variety of options to choose from. The whole place was very clean. The hosts were nice and welcoming. "la piana" was a beautiful place to stay with amazing citrus gardens around. We had a great time relaxing near the swimming pool with a landscape view of the surrounding Tuscan valleys.

Rooms was cozy and cold, bed comfortable. I will only recommend slippers as of stony floor.

Renovated, but with the charm of an old townhouse. Breakfast was included (good quality and helpful staff).
