I loved the location of this hotel! It's a 5 minute walk from the train station and a quick 30 minute train ride to Malpensa airport. The staff was very friendly, allowing me to check in early and offering suggestions on where to eat. When I had to leave before the official breakfast time, they offered to serve me early. The room was small but had everything I needed for a short stay. I will definitely be back.

Just a 1-night stay, last minute booking as part of adjustments following flight cancellation and late night arrival with next day flight. We were so exhausted but check-in was nice and easy and the breakfast the next morning was very good.

There are nearby parks, shops, restaurants. Not an old historic town, but certainly not suburbia. With a car it's just fine. I've stayed here many times after arriving at or before departing from Malpensa.

Huge disappointment.
Huge disappointment. The apartment that I was ordered was not available due to technical reasons. I was informed about that only when I reached the original address and the host offered us an alternative apartment. The other apartment was farther from the train station (we have to go for 20 minutes with little children), didn't have air conditioning and had 2 levels with many stairs. The apartment was not clean, especially the bathroom where we found a dirty bath sponge that someone left. I have to mention that the host was nice and offered us 20% discount but our last day in Italy was ruined.

The best thing about Gallarate is it's positioning. It's right near the airport, but away from the big cities. It's also not too far from the gorgeous lakes of Como and Lugano. Milan is also about half an hour drive away.

He gladly helped us with recommendations and train timetables, even though it was 2 pm. The room was pretty and comfortable, the bathroom very clean. There is a nice view of the town from the window. The breakfast was great and the staff were very attentive to us. They made us an excellent latte. Overall a great place to stay near the airport if you're planning to take the train by morning - only one minute walk from the hotel.ReutIsrael

There are supermarkets, petrol station, cafés and more shops in the immediate neighbourhood.
