It's the best of the five villages in Cinque Terre, considering the views one can get from the accommodations available close to the sea front. It is neither too big nor too small, not much to climb up and down to the sea. It has an excellent mix of terraced vegetation on one side and stacked little houses on the other side.

Charming but can be overrun with tourists during peak season. I mean overrun - difficulting getting on and off the train, difficulty enjoying the city because the streets would be too crowded. Enjoy CinqueTerre Boat Tour is a must do to see all the towns of Cinque Terre from the water at sunset is especially nice and you will get a nice history lesson about the area. Bar Planoia at the water is nice for appertif, Da Aristide in the piazza and Trattoria dal BIlly (a nice uphill walk) with stunning views were delicious - reservations is recommended.

I would like to say how fantastic the hosts were at Incamto Manarola !!!! Excellent communication and upon leaving I managed to leave my mobile phone at the station in Manarola ! We contacted the hosts and had amazing help from them in locating and having my phone sent back to the UK! I so lucky and grateful and I can’t thank them enough!!! We plan on returning in 2024 and I would not hesitate to stay here again ! A hidden gem and location is just perfect !!!! Manarola and the cinque Terre is just beautiful 🤩

Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful.
Everything you could imagine. Stunningly beautiful. Great seafood. Note: Manarola is not for you if you have mobility issues. You will be walking straight up or straight down with and without stairs. If you are mobile, be ready for a workout, but it's absolutely worth it.

A great little town in the Cinque Terre.
A great little town in the Cinque Terre. It's really easy to get to and a great place to walk around with a lot to do. There are some amazing viewpoints and great places to walk and sit. Involves quite a lot of hills and stairs but easy to find everything.
Would say it gets busy with tour groups in the day so definitely make the most of early mornings and late evenings. Lots of places to eat in the day with snacks and drinks - not a wide choice of restaurants compared to other towns in Cinque Terre but still found plenty.
The harbour is lovely and great for a morning swim. The people are also friendly and helpful and train station is easy to get to so you can visit the other towns

It’s a beautiful and unique town, but one night is more than enough to see the town and experience Manarola. It’s overcrowded with hikers and tourist, and finding a table for lunch or dinner is almost impossible if not booked well in advance.
Very comfortable, quiet and well appointed apartment. Good location and 55 steep steps after long days of hiking were challenging. No complaints, this is normal for the Cinque Terre.
Manarola is beautiful and relatively quiet after the day trippers disappear.
Shared patio a quiet place to relax with a drink.
Good WiFi and enough utensils to make breakfast.
We never saw the owner but Gian Paolo messaged good instructions to gain access.
Fantastic room in an excellent location in Manarola! We booked a room with a huge terrace overlooking the water, and it was clean and had everything we needed for our overnight stay. Roberto is so kind and met us upon check in and even gave us tips on some restaurants and stores, as well as the best ways to get around in Cinque Terre. We felt like we were treated like family. Highly recommend!
location ideal-be prepared to walk uphill a lot , very close to restaurant Billys-would recommend eating there. Room was very modern and finally a comfortable bed. I recommend the porter service to bring your luggage from car park to and from the apartment. A great place to base your visit to Cinque Terre. They also run a restaurant Regina di Manarola which was close by and very good.
We had a fabulous time in Manarola in Cinque Terre and staying in Da Baranin was a bonus. our apartment was clean, modern and had a beautiful balcony on to the Tuscan hills where you could sip wine and chill after a long day.Breakfast was nice and the hosts were very helpful. It was very clean and had a fabulous bathroom. I would highly recommend Da Baranin to anyone taking a trip there.
This is a wonderful little hotel. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the Main Street in Manarola. It was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us valuable tips to make the most of our short stay in 5Terre. It's a small village so everything is literally a few minutes walk from the hotel. Would love to come back!
The location was amazing. Right near the main street of Manarola. Which, in our opinion, is the nicest of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre.
The room was perfect as a place to start exploring Cinque Terre, whether on the train or on foot.
The staff was really really nice and gave us a 10% discount in their souvenir shop.
Bruno and Roberto were great hosts! They responded well to all our messages before and during our stay and were very accommodating. The apartment was very spacious for Cinque Terre space standards. It was also recently remodeled. Would highly recommend this apartment to our friends and family.
- fabulous location and only a short (very steep) walk from train station
- good base for exploring the cinque Terre (manarola was our favourite town)
- good aircon
- huge balcony with beautiful view
- comfy spacious room with lots of clothes hanging space
- nice basic Italian breakfast
Perfect location. Manarola was our favourite town in cinque terre- very beautiful. Our host was very helpful and gave us loads of helpful information on the local area/ places to eat and hikes. Apartment was super clean and had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend!
The bed was the most comfortable one I’ve had in Italy so far - first time sleeping a full eight hours. The terrace overlooks the street so in the morning you can have some tea and watch the owners opening shops while your husband sleeps.
The location is not too far from Manarola train station , the seaside and panoramic view.
The studio apartment is a perfect homebase for a few days if you want to explore all the 5 towns or villages in Cinque Terre.
Nothing like waking up in the morning and seeing the quiet sea directly from your terrace. Quiet, comfortable and relaxing. A great location for our Cinque Terre adventure. We truly didn’t want to leave.
The location of the property was perfect. Just steps away from a gorgeous overlook where you can watch the sunset and enjoy views of Cinque Terre. Near a shortcut to the marina which was very convenient.
Everything... Close to train Station, 5 minutes walk, very clean, modern, well furnished, well finished. Nice staff. Best accomodation we had in 6 different regions in our 7 days vacation in Italy.
In this placement, everything was perfect. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The village of Manarola was, in our opinion, the most atmospheric of all the villages in the Cinque Terre.
Loved this hotel. The bed was one of the more comfortable ones in Italy. very clean and loved that they provided a phone for us to use while there would definitely recommend.
For 4 years my family has tried to go to Italy, and Sara has been there for us the whole time. She is fantastic
and the rooms were great. We will definitely return!!
Many Italy people are bad to Chinese, i don't know if it's the waiter are not polite or the whole Italy country are not know how to be nice to others like a man.
