The streets are extremely hilly so comfy walking shoes a must it is very beautiful but 2/3 day stay here is plentiful and to move on see some more beautiful Italy, there is a shuttle bus from San marino that you can buy tickets that leaves approx every 1hr 15mins and brings you to Rimini so you can look around there or catch a train from there to were you like its really very easy to buy from self service machines in any language.

Visit San Marino was a dream plan for us.
We rent a car to rich San Marino from Florence. We had only one night reserved for San Marino. This place is unique. I plan to come back one day to stay longer and enjoy the beauty of this place.

San Marino itself is an amazing place to visit.
San Marino itself is an amazing place to visit. All the historical buildings, steep winding streets of vendors continuing for ages until you reach the top castle embattlements. And you can pick another route down passing more vendors along the way, everything from high end fashion and jewelry to weapons shops. As an Australian, I was shocked that all these guns, knives, machetes, flick knives, spears, high powered bows, arrows, sling shots, crossbows etc. were for open sale. Our laws prevent such sale of deadly weapons but each to their own.

Walking up Mount Titan and visiting the towers was great - a nice escape into a wooded area on a hot day. The old historic centre was lovely, and there appeared to be a couple of good restaurants up there. But otherwise, once you leave the historic centre, but are still up on the hill, it was difficult to find a decent restaurant for dinner that served more than just burgers or sandwiches. I would suggest that San Marino is nice to visit for a couple of hours, explore the historic centre, maybe do some tax-free shopping, but it doesn't require an overnight stay.

San Marino, the capitol and old town of the San Marino...
San Marino, the capitol and old town of the San Marino republic, located on the top of Monte Titano, is a fantastic and tremendously scenic place. In my opinion there are many beautiful and interesting things to see and learn more about just walking around in the old town and visiting the three towers. In addition to the wonderful scenery and the historical sensation, there are numerous museums, shops or restaurants to visit. definitely quite a nice place to go for a short stay.
The only thing I didn't appreciate that much and that I found didn't really fit in this specific environment was the commercial approach with plenty of shops and stalls trying to sell various gadgets and thingies. But ok, everything can't be completely genuine and all that perfect.

After the crowdedness of other European cities San Marino...
After the crowdedness of other European cities San Marino was a haven. This is probably because there is no airport or train station and you really need a car to get there. The mountain and old town are Unesco heritage protected and the views are stunning. We loved visiting the three towers and the Public Palace. Unique boutiques with quality products ( shopping is tax free) and there are some great buys to be had particularly Italian leather bags and jewellery. A picturesque and charming place.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. We parked our car at their other hotel and a porter helped us take our luggage a 5 min walk to the titiano. The hotel is situated, as is all of the inner city of san Marino, on A very steep incline. The hotel itself is fabulous, on multi levels with a great restaurant on their upper terrace. Views are amazing. Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with everything from croissants, cakes pastry, fruits, breads, meats and cheeses.
Location to all of the sights was excellent with numerous restaurants nearby.
Really very exceptional view from top of the hill. It is located directly in the historical center of San Marino Town, just beside the Hill station of the cable car. Parking space for own car is down at the bottom station P11 of the cable car. Or use one of the two Parking Areas on the hill. Nice and clean hotel with own restaurant, very friendly staff. Nice Food and Coffee. There are many shops and many restaurants. Absolutely worth a trip.
Getting to the top of the mountain where this hotel is located was a journey all on its own. The hotel sits in the heart of the Capital and is surrounded by history and stunning views. The Staff was very nice and, even though we arrived late, were able to direct us to restaurants that were only meters away and allowed us to take our dog with us. Will be going back to San Marino for sure and when we do we will stay here 100%.
the panorama room with the balcony felt like the #1 best view in all of San Marino!! I couldn't believe how breathtaking that balcony was. we star gazed late at night and had snacks there in the morning. Loved how it was the first hotel inside the city gates so we didnt have to walk too far from the bus drop off. also loved how the concierge ordered us a taxi for pickup the next morning! very nice.
This hotel was absolutely stunning, as far as views go.
The area of San Marino, where we were, is really unbeatable for views over the valley and surrounding.
The breakfast was really good.
The staff were welcoming and always greeted us with a smile.
Parking was easy as there are carparks all around. On street parking was cheaper if you purchase a voucher from the hotel reception.
Clean and comfortable hotel, no problem with air conditioning (we were here in the middle of summer).
Girl at reception was very nice and helpful, what's important she speaks English (unlike most of San Marino and Italy).
Tasty and nutritious breakfast, there are not only cakes but also cheese, eggs, bread, rolls etc.
Location quite close to Monte Titano, convenient connection.
The hotel is within walking distance of the views in San Marino. On top, the Christmas market was close by, where the evening was well spent. We came by car and the parking lots 6 & 7 are within walking distance. The hotel offers a discounted parking charge which is very helpful.
They also serve a nice breakfast, which was convenient
Lovely clean hotel in the centre of San Marino, extremely good value for money compared to most of Italy and San Marino. The room was very nice with a good view. The staff were all very friendly and useful, with a nice bar area downstairs. They also provided a tourist pass for discounts around San Marino.
The staff were very helpful and friendly and gave us useful tips regarding where we should go and where to eat. The bedroom was comfortable and the WiFi was excellent. The location of the hotel is fantastic for exploring the Three Towers and the rest of San Marino.
Free parking on site, although got very busy in the evenings so be prepared to fight for a spot. Breakfast at hotel, although could have been better. Dogs allowed in hotel. Room had a great view of San Marino, Rimini and the Adriatic. Restaurant on ground floor.
Edgar and staff were OUTSTANDING! We had a GREAT stay! I don’t think we prepaid for the stay, so hopefully the bill we received as we checked was for the correct amount. We love San Marino and your beautiful hotel. Thanks Edgar for outstanding service! Roger
Excellent location right in the historical centre of the City of San Marino. The hotel is in a same building with a very good cafeteria and high quality restaurant. Everything is within a walking distance. The view to the surroundings was also excellent.
Guy who checked us in was very informative, spoke English well. Good place to stop in for evening to check out nearby San Marino Castles. 11 min drive to castles. Parking was easy and free. Lots of trails to run/hike you can get to by walking from hotel.
San Marino is a small but very beautiful independent state with a rich historic center. We stayed just 1 night, enough to see all the main attractions. This hotel has the perfect location as it is located in the heart of the historic centre.
EVERYTHING!!! Everything about this place was amazing! From the location to the extremely helpful staff and perfect room. We would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting San Marino.
impossible to have a better location. in the heart of San Marino.
our room was spectacular. the building itself, and the public spaces were very charming.
the staff were excellent.
