Really nice, cosy, and well appointed apartment set over two floors which is a part of a house in a very good location in a lovely medieval Italian town. Good-sized rooms, comfortable sitting room and airy kitchen and plenty of character. Good playground nearby and easy walking distance to the centre and various eateries. Very helpful hosts

Great pit stop after arriving on a late flight, before setting off to drive to Cortona the next day. Special mention to the wonderful staff: we arrived quite late and the lady on the desk gave me some of her own feminine hygiene products as I had been unable to find a pharmacy that was open, thank you! Room was big, comfortable and breakfast buffet was plentiful & delicious

This is a medieval town with lots of history. It is very interesting but not enough to do for too long. There is only 1 shop, a bar and eating places. There is a bus but it is a limited timetable. You really need transport to get to other places or the railway station. We are visiting italian friends who live in Vicopisano and they take us out in their car. However, it is a lovely quiet place to stay and relax.

A delightful small town with adequate shops (including an excellent Bakery, several restaurants a very pleasant Bar. It is a lovely place to stroll around its narrow streets, very uncommercialized. It is very conveniently located as a staging point for trains to Pisa and Florence from stations either at Cascina or Pontedera. Alternatively a drive by car to Lucca and San Gimingnano.

A peaceful (although we arrived in the medieval festival, so two boisterous days!!), a couple of nice reasonably priced restaurants in the square, and a very reasonably priced cafe for drinks within this area too. A great location close enough to Pisa (airport) but also getting about to explore the area.

Sleeping in a castle is an unusual experience. The castle is large, old, atmospheric, designed by the famous Brunelleschi, and from the window you can see the castle courtyard and the defensive tower (and the whole area). Guided tours around the castle are organized on Sundays. The apartment is equipped with (almost) everything you need. The town of Vicopisano is surprisingly beautiful, old, and not very touristy. There are 2 bars and 4 restaurants in the town. We enjoyed our stay there.

We stayed in the small town Vicopisano to visit friends and had an excellent stay at the B&B. The room was big for the whole family, very spacious and clean bathroom, central location close to bus stop, so even without car easy to reach from Pontedera (next train stop). Good bus connections to Pisa and surroudings, tickets can be purchased in the Tabac store nearby. Very warm welcome by the host. Plenty of information material provided inside living room.

Tranquil location. Great for family with older children. The pool was a hit with our teenagers. If you like walking, the picturesque village of Vicopisano is a 25 minute walk. Marina the host was very helpful and we dined in a couple of the restaurants she recommended. If you have small children you’ll probably need a car to get about.

The ancient city of Vicopisano is really nice. The apartment is located on the top floor and has an incredible style. An old building wit charm, completely renovated and well decorated! Very clean and complete. There was even a cold Prosecco in the fridge as a warm welcome.

it’s well located to visit the main landmarks in north Tuscany, like Pisa, Lucca and Firenze, all in a range of 20 to 40 min driving. Vicopisano town is a beautiful gem of middle age towns with lovely restaurants of traditional cocine
