Mornas is a nice and cosy village. It is a must to visit the fortress. One can rest on the market place for some coffee or breakfast. In Mornas and neighboring village, one can find very good and nice restaurants.
We liked very much the pool , it was like we would have a private swimming pool in front of the small vacation house . In 37C it is a very big adventure.
The owners were really very kind , they accepted us with cold drinks and were really helpful in every matter.
There is a small fridge, microwave and climatisation too.
We planned a lot of excursions from that place like : Les Baux de Provence, Gordes, Roussillion, Avignon, Gorges des Ardèches, Orange, and for that the position of Mornas is ideal.
We stayed there already twice and loved it for a stop over. Therese is a wonderful host. She offered us a meal also. It´s like a privat home, about 5 km from the center of Mornas in the green with a big garden, now with a pool to use. Great stop with kids, but there is usually only 1 guestroom. We would stay there again. Welcome feeling, its feels a bit like you would stop over with your aunt.
The breakfast was excellent and we could order it nice and early when we had an early start. It had all the tiny extras which you wouldn’t get at a hotel like freshly squeezed orange juice. It was all nice and quite to get a good night sleep. There is a really good restaurant 10 minute walk away. It is really a place where you can getaway and relax and forget all your troubles.
Clean, spacious with a lot of well preserved character. Family owners are friendly and professional and. A calm atmosphere. Pretty view on the big mountain and cute village. Will definitely sleep here again when we travel to Spain, next time i'd stay longer! We would rather categorise this hotel with 4 stars.
I highly recommend this Hotel. It's in a old house but it's clean, and as far as I could tell, very well maintained. Service was outstanding and very friendly. They have a parking space in the yard in front of the hotel and it's closed over the night.
The location of the hotel is ideal for visiting the fortress and rest a bit in Mornas. There are free parking places in fron of the hotel. The owner and his twin-brother are very kind and helpful. We enjoyed the stay, and consider it next time again.
Beautiful old French hotel. Excellent staff and unbelievably fantastic food. I travel from the north of England every summer and stop en route. I’ll definitely make this an annual stopping point
From the moment we arrived the lovely receptionist couldn’t do enough for us. Secure bike garage, big room, great aircon. We thoroughly recommend this hotel
