Mougins is a lovely small town, near Cannes on the French Riviera. There are restaurants, bars, fruit and produce stands and a full-service grocery store; Places to shop, all within reasonable walking distance.
With a car, there are so many interesting and beautiful places to visit. It's a wonderful base to explore the Riviera and I would encourage anyone to visit.

Mougins has changed over time, and we thought we had come back once too often. We have been here over a dozen times in 40 years, and we love it. Several things are less than they were, first being the cuisine. Of course Vergé has passed on, but there seem to be few young chefs aspiring for greatness there. This impression may be partly due to our timing. Several restaurants were seasonally closed. Also, the sculptures all over town of all the fruits and vegetables was rather tasteless, and lent a tawdry appearance. Chic it was not. And moving Commandant Lamy’s statue was an act of disrespect. This was our last trip, but we are grateful for the many happy days we have enjoyed in Mougins.

Mougins is a small and pretty hilltop village with picturesque cobblestone streets, a selection of restaurants (mainly for dinner I think), galleries and views of the mountains and the sea. It is ideally located within 15' minutes from Antibes and Cannes and it's a tranquil and relaxing place to unwind and be in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Mougins (old town) is so picturesque.
Mougins (old town) is so picturesque. It’s a beautiful place full of good restaurants and lots of art. We would highly recommend l’Amandier, which serves lovely food and has a beautiful view, if you’re lucky enough to get a table outside. We also enjoyed Au Rendez-vous in the Square, although the best tables are for 2 or 3 people.
There’s a waterpark less than half an hour away, which our kids thoroughly enjoyed.

Mougins is a beautiful village in the hills behind Cannes.
Mougins is a beautiful village in the hills behind Cannes. Picasso spent the last years of his life here and the village is now a centre for artists whose workshops dominate the streets. Dining options in the village can be pricey and booking is advisable. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in the area. You can combine with a trip up to Grasse.
Le mas de la source is truly the best place we’ve ever been to. It’s rooms are chic, clean, beautiful, well equipped and the whole house itself is sooo lovely. It also has the most perfect pool and the rooms’ terraces are right next to it. Emilie and Sebastien are wonderful people with great taste and they put a lot of work into this place. They recommended the best places to see and eat around Mougins and helped us immediately whenever we needed anything! We’ll be back for sure ;) thanks again for everything!
Beautiful house in Mougins. Our room was very comfortable and all furniture and appliances were new and modern. We had everything we needed. The hosts are caring and attentive. They add the special touch to the experience. The breakfast is very good and carefully curated on a daily basis. It feels like it is made with love, which is definitely a differentiating point. Thank you Muriel and Christopher for an amazing stay. Will definitely come back!
Very nice, clean and calm Aparthotel. Parking on site. Very friendly staff. My apartment was relatively small for 4 persons but surprisingly well planned with all the stuff you need for a few days stay. Even though the hotel is located close to the highway we couldn't hear the traffic.
It was a bit of a booking by chance, at the last minute, forced by circumstances, but I was very positively surprised. Very good value for money.
Oh, that amazing view. The sound of birds. To wake up there was like in heaven)) Sweetest hosts. Comfortable suit with everything you need. Close to the sweetest center of Mougins and Cannes in general. And also not far away from highway, comfortable for long distance travel. Thanks to the hosts to have a bite of French life. It’s not comparable to the ordinary hotel experience))
The hotel was very charming, with beautiful gardens, typical of the south of France. The rooms are spacious and quite clean, the pool is nice and it is in a great location, halfway between Grasse and Cannes and only 15min away from Nice airport. Equipment was enough and the breakfast was good!
Location, quality of interior and exterior, landscaping, lovely details and good maintenance. Also we could park our car on the property. Great hotel quality beds and shower! Nice breakfast. Very welcoming owners, always ready to assist for the best possible stay.
A charming hotel outside of the big cities, yet close to all the best places. Very kind and dedicated staff, always smiling and helpful. The room was nice and clean, airco was a plus. Breakfast was very good, mostly sweet with quite a lot of choice.
Visited with my two daughters. The hotel and surroundings were even nicer than on pictures. The popl excellent and the crew very nice and helpful. The ambiamce was really good. Our room was big and comfortable.
Short drivep from besutiful Mougins.
Beautiful hotel sadly diminished by a notable shortage of staff, or it’s being operated on an overly tight budget. The staff that were there were lovely and trying hard. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable. It does actually look like it’s photos.
This is the second time that I've stayed at this hotel. The setting is completely charming and quiet with a lovely view. The room was comfortable, the pillows divine, and the bathroom large. The welcome was kind and the atmosphere relaxed.
There is a worm swimming pool, air-conditioning, and clean towels every day, a rather nice view from one side of the hotel (behind the highway), Mougins and Grasse are not far away.
Good location in nice room after we moved from a not so nice room. We had to upgrade because originally they put us on a floor that was really dark and facing the back of the hotel.
A friendly welcome at a practical address near the beautiful villages of Mougins and Valbonne. A quiet location. The hostess offered her homemade jam for breakfast - delicious!
The guy at the front desk was sooooooo nice! Very thoughtful guy who helped us with our luggage. Just for the warm welcome that hotel is worth the visit
We really liked the area and the hotelapartment concept with a pool. The size was perfect for us. Very pet friendly. Nice staff but not so much done...
