We loved this beautiful place.
We loved this beautiful place. We hiked a lot, went for summer rodeln in Lienz, went for breakfast to Cafe Central and spend a lot of time at the amazing pool. On the day we left it was raining heavily which meant rafting fun. When you’re up for an hour drive, it is an amazing route to the beautiful Wörthersee. All in all, a beautiful place.

Not much to see.
Not much to see. We were only there for a stopover and visited the village for dinner. Scenery is nice but much nicer (in my opinion) on the other side of Grossglockner, e.g. Zell am See, if the Tyrol style is what you are looking for.Simon JoensenDenmark - 10Scored 10

It's next to the ski pists in Kötschach, and in about ten minutes you can get to the city centre, where in wintertime you can use the skibus to get to Nassfeld, the best ski resort in the southern part of the Alps. The Wellness in Kötschach is also in walking distance, about 8 minutes.GalliHungary

Was a county hotel up in the mountains with super views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. Note---you would be up there alone except for staff and guests. We were traveling primarily because of skiing (Nassfeld, Kals Matrei), and Kötschach was a good place to reach Lienz and Hermagor. Sabine was very nice host, we felt like at home. She recommended us pools for swimming, close to the apartment, and they were good for relax after skiing.

We can left our botorbike under a roof which was very nice as we arrived in rainy weather. The breakfast is tipically asutrian, you can eat everything you like. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
