Whilst i believe the hotel is being renovated, the carpets in the bedroom were filthy. Looked like workmen had been in there with their dirty boots. Breakfast was terrible, Did not have no choice, we were asked what we wanted. When it arrived the sausage and bacon were under cooked.
Would not stay here again.

Terrible room.
Terrible room. The shower was separate to the toilet and there was nowhere to dry yourself in the shower. Consequently my partner slipped and fell, resulting in a massive bruise. No mats provided.
I will not be returning.

To be honest we didn't really see anywhere outside the hotel as the only time we ventured outside was to check the walking distance to the airport - about 7 minutes, although the doors of the lift and of the stairs to the railway station/monorail to the airport could have had signs on them telling us where they went to. For a first time visitor it wasn't absolutely clear. The area between the hotel and the railway station and the hotel is pretty much industrial so hardly a tourist hotspot!

The ninth floor was delightful - very quiet and peaceful with distant views of countryside. The room was clean and modern with naive art (part of the corporate decor) around the TV on the wall. The TV was a good, visible size too! Not a large room but large enough and well designed so as to not be cramped.
The restaurant is okay but very crowded. Basically there is nowhere to eat in the area but in the hotels themselves. There is a Greggs, a Costa and an M&S Food in the terminal building opposite which the public can access freely. To be fair the Ibis restaurant served reasonable food at a reasonable price.
We paid £79 for our night in the hotel. It was very near the station we arrived at and extremely near the airport terminal where we had to be early the next morning. Perfect really.
When you think of Hilton, you usually think of slightly upmarket, premium hotel chain. Unfortunately this property is jinxed.
This has always been my hotel of choice, but the last 2 stays have been a disaster..... previously had to be relocated to 2 rooms, both of which the AC didnt work. This trip, lifts don't work and hot water wasn't available for 2 days in the room.
To top it off, they are now charging for the gym and pool as guests...so will stay somewhere else where its all inclusive
Location is fantastic for Birmingham airport. Loved the on-site restaurants and access to the car park, all under one roof. The reception, rooms and bathrooms were all lovely and spotless. We will definitely book the Genting Hotel again for any future visits to Birmingham airport.
Located close to Birmingham Airport and the NEC it was very convenient to go into Birmingham by car. Breakfast was good. Showers were also good in the rooms. There is parking but not free which I thought it was. Its good value for money compared to many hotels in Birmingham.
Close to the airport, walking distance to the terminal so no annoying transfer buses, but still very quiet. Excellent value, clean safe and comfortable. Ideal for layovers and early/late flights.
I'll definitely stay here again when using Birmingham Airport.
Lovely location not your usual generic hotel, very clean , very helpful staff also great knowledge of the local area, bed was so comfortable, just minutes away from the airport, when we fly from Birmingham Airport we will 100% return.
Beautiful area and grounds. Very clean, food lovely and staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely seeing the deer roaming the golf course. Hotel a little dated but everything lovely and didn’t particularly bother me.
I like that the pub next door does amazing hot food. The hotel does a hot lovely breakfast in the morning with plenty to go around and seating. The customer service from the staff is outstanding.
Fantastic highly recommend hotel, fab staff actually outstanding staff and management. Really helpful when our car broke down and staff couldn't do enough to help honestly fantastic all around
The Ibis is very convenient for getting into Birmingham Airport, the price for one evening is perfect, the room had everything you needed for the night, would definitely use this hotel again.
The hotel was so convenient to the airport, lovely staff, great room, very comfortable bed and great value for money. I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Birmingham
Comfortable bed, TV and chair in the room, kettle and coffee provided. Ensuite bathroom included in the price. Bus stops opposite the hotel on the adjacent road Falcon Way.
