We stayed in the Wren room, which had the best bathtub I think I have every enjoyed. The inn keepers were extraordinarily friendly and made us feel right at home. The Nest is conveniently located a short distance from the South Downs Way.

We had a lovely time at Ye Olde George Inn. Staff were very helpful and accommodating as we needed to leave early the next morning. Had dinner the night we stayed and it was delicious. The village itself is very pretty, would have loved to have explored more. It was also in a very handy location close to the South Downs Way.

I liked the room that had everything in it from tv to milk in the fridge with free tea, coffee and chocolates/ They even supplied a hair dryer and iron and ironing board. The chef was extremely good as the food was first class and would recommend eating here. I have no negatives at all to report and all the staff were so friendly. I will stay here again as enjoyed my stay here enormously

3 days was perfect. Close to Portsmouth for a touristy day and plenty of relaxing walks for us to complete on the others days. Easy to get around and excellent parking. Everywhere we ate the food was really wonderful

This lovely pub was basically at the bottom of the lane leading up to Butser Hill. And a walk along that lane was a treat for wildlife lovers - partridges, pheasants, deer, skylarks and (I think) fieldfare sighted on those beautiful South Downs meadows. Petersfield is a short 10 minute drive away and the Queen Elizabeth Country Park even nearer. The pub is probably about a mile outside of Clanfield village which we didn't see...maybe next time.

Loved the place and people and would certainly use again.
Loved the place and people and would certainly use again.
Due to the property's location, a car would be the only reasonable way to get around.
The vegan menu was rather poor but generally no complaints

Just 70 miles from London the Hotel is a Doddle to Find. Just off the A3 you are immediately into the quiet and tranquility of the beautiful Hampshire Countryside. But no more than 30 minutes from the Ferry in Portsmouth.
