A cosy, accommodating hostel, in an old building brimming w/personality! Excellently located. Woke up to the sound of waves slowly crashing up against the shore. The kitchen was well-equipped and spacious, the toilets and showers were clean and well-maintained. The bed was delightfully comfortable, and the hostel itself was inviting, charming, and wonderful. Darius was friendly, prompt, and professional. My stay in Anstruther was excellent thanks to the lovely Murray Library Hostel :-)

The owner hosts, Mark and Jennifer, have created a wonderful B&B in Anstruther. The home is elegant, beautifully maintained and appointed, and creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy. Our room was quiet, spotless, and comfortable. Mark and Jennifer did everything possible to ensure a wonderful stay.
I loved Crail. The village was so amazing the views out of this world. The bus service was great and the public really helpful. The Harbour is on a hill in case your pushing a wheelchair, its okay going down but it will be a little tricky coming up. Food was great, but not a lot of pubs. The coastal walk was closed the days I was there but, the bus driver took me to the nearest entrance so I could walk the coast pathway.

Lovely little town.
Lovely little town. Our accomodation was in an excellent location with magnificent views. It was very peaceful.
The apartment was only partially renovated. The decor was a bit tired. Covering an old dirty sofa with blankets doesn’t really hide it.

A lovely old village in the Eat Neuk of Fife.
A lovely old village in the Eat Neuk of Fife. Good to just wander around. Coastal path walk and nearby beaches. Plenty to do and see in the surrounding area. Crail has plenty of good places to eat in such a small village and a choice of grocery shops for the self catering visitors. Very quiet but very friendly. The Golf Hotel does lovely lunches and there's a beautiful cafe and gallery on the way down to the harbour.

Crail is a lovely little village and is easy to walk to the beach, has local shops and a cafe. It was also near to St Andrews where we were attending a wedding. We would definitely have explored more if we had more time
