Lisburn is a nice town with plenty of shops and places to eat. Most of the attractions are closed this time of year but the local park is well worth a nice walk around and the town itself has a friendly atmosphere. If driving, there is a one way system in place which can be a little confusing to navigate at times but it is well serviced with public transport.

Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports.
Lisburn is a friendly walkable town close to 2 airports. It offers plenty of restaurants, services and shops. It's also a thriving community with churches, schools, hospital, charity shops and parks, including a river walk and castle grounds plus a linen museum. Bigger shops such M&S and B&Q are on the outskirts. But the little proprietary shops are gems.
There are frequent buses and trains to Belfast if you need a city (and nightlife) and some gorgeous parks not far by car. There are plenty of B&Bs in the farmlands around Lisburn but if you stay in Lisburn itself you won't need a car.

Great location for me in pandemic situation as it allowed me to visit my 85 year old mother for the first time in 18 months providing some respite for my sister while allowing me to meet the government guidelines. Comfortable property. Warm and cosy with modern bathroom and kitchen facilities. Private parking was a bonus.
Lovely wee clean apartment, stayed with my partner and 2 kids. We had a lovely experience, Paddy and Una were so hospitable, lovely friendly hosts.
They really went above and beyond, from leaving a bottle of wine and a few beers for us to having a great selection of food in the fridge and cupboard, it made travelling with kids so easy and it was like a home from home.
The area is lovely and quiet with great views of Belfast at night, alot of activities within driving distance.
Definitely a 10/10 experience
Absolutely Fantastic Stay ! House was spotless, so cosy yet plenty of room for our toddler to run about during our stay. Great Value for money in this house !
Most definitely will return if in Northern Ireland again. Land lady was there to show us around when we arrived and told us she was next door if needed. Ideal base for us to explore Belfast for a couple of days. could not recommend highly enough.

John is a very nice owner of this B&B. It is a nice clean comfort place to stay. It is in a very quiet and green surrounded area.
It is very suitable for people who want to get away from city and crowds, even for the weekend break, it is brilliant. Breakfast is nice and fresh and tasty.
the staff was lovely, the room was comfy and I enjoyed a nice breakfast the next morning. It is located not to far from Belfast (30mn of bus), the train station is close and can bring you to the city center. the room is warm and well equipped, I had a short but lovely stay, thank you!
Very large room with lovely sitting area.
Garden areas outside are pretty, be careful of broken wood on garden treads.
Breakfast is early but very quickly served after you order. Help staff is pleasant.
There is a fridge to store milk etc in the bar room which was helpful.
Very clean and pleasant staff members, and breakfast is included which is nicely served in the morning. The property consists of other amenities such as en-suite, shared lounge and dining area and a garden. It is very good value for money motel and is all that a person needs.
I had an early morning appointment in the Lisburn area so I needed somewhere to stay for just one night. Could not have made a better choice. Breakfast was excellent and room was spotless. Owner, Jim and staff were friendly and homely. Would recommend Kilcreeny Lodge.
Walked into the hotel after our journey to an unexpected live performance and a bustling bar area. The hotel is immaculately decorated and the cocktails were excellent! Amazing breakfast as well. Would recommend HIGHLY to anyone staying in the Lisburn area!
The house was a great size, plenty of space for our family of 4, very comfortable and modern. It had everything we needed, walking distance from Lidl and Tesco and Lisburn town centre. Our host left us some thoughtful treats too!
