Our Host Sue was delightful and made sure we had a pleasant stay. She provided local information to help us navigate a rail strike, getting around locally and local attractions (we hadn't rented a car and had friends providing some transportation). We had a nice variety of breakfast options every day (from light to hearty) and she quickly learned our likes and preferences. Our room was tidied up daily and we had a nice view out the window to a field and the countryside behind the property. The property is older but cozy and home-like place to rest, not a glitzy modern marble-and-chrome place. Although there was no common sitting area other than the breakfast area (or in our room), we felt welcomed and comfortable, like we were staying with a friend. Having a car to get around would be best when staying in this area but we had no trouble summoning up a taxi or car-service (i.e Uber) when we needed. There are a few places within a short walk (1/4 mile or so) to get some food or a drink (The New Inn, the Star Inn, Reid's, Persepico's Pizza and an Indian food place). A nice steak house (Miller and Carter) is an easy 1.5 mile walk away.

The person in the night shift was excellent. Not so much of the breakfast lady.

In general the staff were nice and especially the team at the bar/breakfast. The price paid matched the type of hotel and the type of room selected - reasonably good value for money. The room was clean and, in general, the hotel was clean and tidy.

Friendly welcome and efficient checkin
Room was compact but had everything required. it was nice and cosy on a wet and windswept night with minimal noise from outside.
Being separate from the pub was great for quietness but it was just a few yards to the restaurant where the food looked good. I had breakfast and that was all perfect

Nice neighbourhood with plenty of views, fresh air and some excellent local pubs for real ale. The Ossett Brewery Black Bull on Halifax Road is a must!! Some great local places for food. If you like a takeaway after a night out try Wok Ever Palace in Cleckheaton which is excellent for great food and delivery and Haighs Farm Shop up the Road for some well renowned Yorkshire Produce and interesting finds!
Millbridge Fisheries is nearby for tasty Fish and Chips! What's not to love!!

I am always a little apprehensive when staying in accommodation that is new to me as standards do seem to vary. On this occasion however, my apprehension was unfounded as the geordie pride lodge was excellent on all levels and it will definitely be my place to stay when in the area again.
There was nothing to dislike. The geordie pride lodge was clean, comfortable and with all the facilities as described with on-site parking. An excellent value for money stay with a superb breakfast included. Highly recommended.

The room was clean.
The room was clean. Our shower was the best we have ever had away from home, good pressure and hot. Staff were all friendly. We ate our main meal at the Hotel, food was good. We find the Liversedge an ideal place to stay, easily accessible to other places.
I never usually bother spending the time to write and submit reviews (Who has the time), but I'm making an exception for this hotel. Friendly staff greeting, quiet room and a nice breakfast. Lovely local area and views. I will definitely be staying again when I'm next around the area for work. Fantastic find! Thanks again.
This is the COMFIEST bed I've ever slept in in a hotel!!!! Wish I knew what the mattress was! 😂 Otherwise the room is just a fairly standard guest room at a pub. Basic, but very clean. And due to location, soooooo quiet.
Had the breakfast next day which was lovely and staff were attentive and nice!
Unfortunately I didn't have dinner or breakfast at this hotel, but rather regretting that, as the offer looked lovely. Also, I lost a necklace and the staff very kindly tried looking everywhere for it and kept me informed by phone, which I really appreciated.
The hotel was perfect. We were greated by Sue who showed us to our room and explained everything to us. We really enjoyed the amazing breakfast each morning, and nothing was too much trouble. It is handy for local shops pubs and restaurants.
Breakfast was fab! Really filling, freshly made, very tasty. Host was very amenable, nothing was too much trouble. Called to check that we were okay to find the hotel. Plenty of parking.
