If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you.
If you like nature and walking, this is the place for you. Stunning and we particularly liked the walks around the Llanberis lake and up to the waterfall. There are some shops in the village but it is not that well equipped for proper food shopping. However, we arranged a food delivery from Asda which arrived promptly.

Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train...
Llanberis is ideally located for the easiest walk or train up Snowdon, our main reason to stay here. Many other more difficult walking options are a short car or bus journey away, be warned the popular car parks fill up very early in the day and some like Pen-Y-Pas must be prebooked and are very expensive. A few miles further away there are an almost infinite list of other walking routes that will be much less crowded. Be warned that none of the routes up Snowdon are easy, you should be fit and prepared for cold wet and foggy weather, any time of the year. Llanberis has a few shops, pubs, cafes and restauraunts although when we stayed in late March many were closed, I guess the season starts after Easter.

Llanberis is the ideal location to start your trip up to Llanberis path to Snowdon. We were also able to walk to the Slate Museum & Dolbadarn Castle. If you want to get the train to the top of Snowdon, the station is located in a visible easy to reach location, with a car park about 1 minute walk away. Also, just off the high street we found a beautiful waterfall named Rhaeadr.

LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there.
LLanberis is beautiful, and we enjoyed our stay there. If you're there to see the sights, make sure you're traveling all around Snowdonia! In particular, some of the northern region has amazing landmarks, such as Corfe Castle.
There's a bus service that can transport you around the area - we stayed in the YHA in Pen Y Pass, and caught the bus from there to the nearest cheap car park in the morning to save some money.

I would have preferred a walk in shower with a bigger room. The hotel was very welcoming and breakfast was excellent. Plenty of space in the hotel to relax in .Good car parking space and to Snowdonia railway.,Plenty of walks and overall a pleasant relaxing stay. We would certainly return.
Perfect location, lovely host, yummy pizzas - just what we needed, reasonable price, brilliant location , helpful and friendly hosts, great view of Snowdon from the room, good lounge with games etc, evening meals very nice, especially the pizza. Also has bar, patio, very near lake and village, car parking, easy to find Perfect for our short break in Snowdonia, had a great time and felt very at home here, would go back for longer next time. Would fully recommend. Beautiful part of the UK.
Location was great. Neighbours really friendly, local people in llanberis helpful and friendly. Property clean, spacious, has all facilities you need. Even though booking .com had wrong details about check in times, Becky still honoured the check in time we had and left us a lovely welcome gift too. We absolutely loved everything about the house and our stay here. We will definitely be returning and recommending it to anyone wanting to go snowdonia.
Very conveniently located on the Llanberis high street, and almost directly at a Sherpa Bus stop, which makes getting the bus to Bangor or Caernarfon very easy. Also a good starting point for the Llanberis Path and/or the railway up Snowdon. The flat has separate living and dining room, kitchen, bedroom and small outdoor garden area. Everything worked as expected - oven, shower, TV, etc. We didn't try the hobs or heating.
Breakfast service impressive. I was asked what I would like including preferences and asked what time would suit me best.
Location was fantastic - scenic and perfect for walking up Snowdon on the Llanberis path.
A snug where you can help yourself to tea and coffee is also an excellent idea. I also liked the wildlife pictures in the room.
Great location so scenic & beautiful. Comfortable & immaculate accommodation! Spar shop next door. Pub, chippy, Indian restaurants close by.
Walking distance to hike up Snowdon on the Llanberis path. Caernarfon castle short 15 mins drive. First time visitors to Wales will definitely be back so much to explore!
its location is perfectly situated close to the start of the Llanberis path (hiking route to Snowdon). we could park our car at the hotel’s parking site and walk to the path, which is extremely convenient. it is also a two minute walk to Snowdon Mountain Railway, the lake, Slate museum, and the lake.
- perfect location - easily walkable to the Llanberis Path to get up Snowdon, and also easily walkable to the town for food/drinks in the evening
- Clean property
- Good shower for post Snowdon climb showers
- Secure garden for dog
- Parking situation perfectly adequate for one car
Our trip to Llanberis was made so much better with our stay at Alpine lodge. The staff were so friendly and catered to all our needs. It was so clean and the shower was amazing after walking up Snowdon! There was a lot of options at breakfast too which was lovely.
Brilliant location for exploring Llanberis and snowdonia. Very bright and airy cottage, very comfortable furniture. Everything needed was provided. Check in and check out very simple and easy. Nice outdoor area. Lovely views. Great communication from owner.
A very comfortable hotel. Located close to Snowdon Mountain Railway station and Llanberis path.
2 convenience store within 100 Mt's of the hotel.
In House restaurant is very good.
Staff is very friendly.
Family room has separate kids rooms with bunk beds.
Wonderful location in the countryside with good views but also a short drive from Llanberis and Caernarfon. Gorgeous, clean, character cottage where everything just worked, no hassles whatsoever. Perfect for a relaxing week exploring Snowdonia.
Oh how lovely this was! Super central location, near the lake and the Llanberis Path. Near shops and pubs. All you need. Great room with great bathroom. Clean and comfortable. Already booked my next stay with them for when I go to Snowdonia!
Simple, Cheap & Well Equipped. We just needed a bed for the night and it worked perfectly for that.
Mattress was comfy and the place felt secure. Toilets and showers were clean. Check in and out was super simple.
The hotel is in perfect location in town center. Room is clean with mountain views in a stylish building. Excellent breakfast served by a very gentle couple. Probably the best hotel in llanberis.
The breakfasts were perfect and varied. Important since I was there for 8 nights. Thank you for making me feel at home. The location is convenient to the train and trails up Snowdon.
