Most liked was easy/quick beach access, very clear instructions for check in from host. Least liked was the amount of traffic lights on the shorefront - nothing to do with the accommodation which was excellent in every way - just needed to allow extra time when driving anywhere. Everywhere we went was family/kid friendly, and everyone was super friendly and nice We’ll definitely be back, and for longer. Plantasia, the tropical animal indoor zoo is fantastic, and staff super helpful and friendly. Loads of the big brand supermarkets within easy reach for self catering accommodation. Long drive (from Surrey), so would recommend a rest stop at services/Bristol on travel there and back

Mumbles is a great place to stay.

Mumbles is a great place to stay. Everyone is very friendly. Great walks along the seafront to walk into town or on to Swansea! Lots to see and do on foot. Dogs are out in abundance which is lovely to see and they are welcome in all establishments. M&S foodhall too which is an added bonus.

It was just an amazing experience.

It was just an amazing experience. The area are buzzing and there were so much fantastic places to eat. The beaches were amazing and one need time to visit them all. For us it was also close to so many Castles to visit and see. And if you like your meat, then this is the place to go. The Welsch lamb and specifically the Welsch Salt Marsh lamb is the best.

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding...

We came to the Mumbles to celebrate our daughter's wedding and having travelled from Kent decided to stay for a few days and explore. Overall the weather was kind to us, just Sunday with rain. We took ourselves off to Rhossili Bay which was beautiful and because I have some disabilities it had a reasonably flat path that you could walk along to see the beach and the Worms Head. The main difficulty we had was using the car park ticket machines! You needed a degree to understand them but luckily, a local resident helped us and we in turn was then able to help others in the same plight. A lovely long weekend.

Beautiful, quirky, retro, very spacious, comfy beds, sea views has everything you could need. The board games in the lounge was a lovely touch. Below the flat is a welcoming traditional pub with piano! Close proximity to seafront, coffee shops, restaurants, shops and many galleries. Already booked for later on in the year.

The room has a superb panoramic view across Swansea bay. The double bed was comfortable and the in-room basin was handy for brushing our teeth/ washing hands (our private bathroom was accessed across a small landing). Easy access to Oystermouth or walking to the pier/ hitting the coastal paths around to the beaches of the Gower. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from during the day or night. The cooked breakfast in the morning was cooked beatuifully. Andrew and Lindsay are very friendly hosts and offer excellent value.

Absolutely lovely hotel room, overlooking Swansea Bay. Room was spacious, spotlessly clean. Sliding doors opened onto a small balcony/terrace area.( too wet to use during our stay) Lovely white linens, big bathsheets. Comfort big bed. Block out curtains. Good breakfast downstairs. We also had an enjoyable dinner in the restaurant downstairs. It was a wet day and evening so there was no outside drinkers/socialising or noise to bother us. Pay and display parking, at a good rate, was very close.

Our room was a small one at the rear, no views but airy, comfortable, quiet and clean. The hotel is in a good location in Mumbles and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a holiday in the area. There is no parking but we always found a place fairly close by and a ticket in the car park will cover you for other Foreshaw carp parks in the Gower

The Coast House is a beautiful B&B right in front of the sea. The room was large, beautiful and comfortable. We had several choices of breakfast (including vegetarian and vegan options), and it was delicious. The self-check in was very easy to do, and the staff were very friendly. I would definitely recommend!!
