What a wonderful place!. Light, airy, well presented. Situated on the quay but very close to the town centre, this gem of a hotel is a real find. The staff were exceptionally courteous, accommodating and helpful. We had room 201 which has was magnificent & spacious (complete with a safe for valuable too. The hotel is on the cusp of a natural bend in the river, so we had an amazing view of the length of the river Severn resplendent with a lovely & well kept quay side walkway. The walkway has been created as part of the conservation area and is really peaceful & tranquil.
The bath/shower room was modern & well presented with a superb chrome shower coupled with a huge shower head - most welcome after we attended the Worcester Pitchcroft Parkrun which was a short walk away.
In the morning we were treated to a fantastic breakfast in the tastefully presented high ceilinged fining area, complete with a mezzanine area. The cooked breakfast, complete with a range of fresh breads and a linen tablecloth & napkins was delicious and we were able to have enjoy this at 10.45am which was a bonus as it allowed us to treat ourselves after the Parkrun.
Whatever business they're working to, they've really created something wonderful that works very well. We felt rested and instantly at peace and were made to feel very welcome and it really made our 20th wedding anniversary. Thank you all.

Room was warm and spotlessly clean.
The cathedral is well worth a visit, stunning architecture and great for the history fans given who's interred there.

First of all the good thing: on arrival my husband tripped on the stairs and fell over, and because his mobility is not brilliant, he was finding it difficult to get up. Staff were EXTREMEMELY caring and helpful, and we were very, very grateful.

I spent 1 night and 1 day here with a specific itinerary - the historic ghost walk, the cathedral, Greyfriars, Tudor museum.
Worcester is very easy to travel to by train and car and to get around. There are some fantastic historic buildings, cafes and pubs. I stayed at Browns at the Quay and ate there. I also had a delicious afternoon tea at G&Tea. A very enjoyable stay - will be back soon to see some other things!

A beautiful little city, not as touristy as York or Chester but along those lines. Getting off the train at Worcester Foregate Station (handy for day trips to Gloucester, Great Malvern and Hereford) and you're straight into the middle of town, loads of shops and restaurants, excellent museum, heavenly cathedral, Friar street, a lovely medieval road, includes the Tudor house museum. There is also a Royal Worcester pottery museum which is excellent....recommended. NOTE: A few Worcester attractions are closed Mon & Tue....need to check !!

This is a beautiful historic city which is well worth a visit for non-history buffs too. It offers shopping, sightseeing, plentiful "hospitality" venues, and its setting astride the River Severn offers countryside and walking too. What more could you ask for in a city break ?
The hotel is really a pub with a few rooms (3 or 4). However it is very handy for the centre Worcester, the staff are helpful and friendly, and the room was very comfortable.
The included breakfast was a small suitcase of food and utensils for two (full breakfast is available downstairs for extra, but we did not try it). The croissants were a bit limp - I'd have preferred a crisp roll, butter and jam.
We also had dinner in the pub one evening - excellent beer, and a great pie and mash.
The property was squeaky clean, with a good range of facilities. It was well appointed, nicely decorated and furnished, with everything required to cook full meals (if needed). The bed was comfortable, the water was hot, hand wash and gel available too. The location was great, very close to the canal basin and a lovely river walk. There was designated parking - a great option in a city centre. We usually stay in a hotel when we visit Worcester, but this is a much better way to visit.
Location, location, location....fantastic little hotel on the banks of the Severn. Our room opened out onto the garden overlooking the river and had a separate area there for residents to order and have drinks away from the walk in bar clientele. Walking disctance to everything in Worcester and loads of walks along the river and feeding swans if with children.
The location was very nice and the hotel was impressive. We only had one night there and they accommodated an early check in as we were attending a funeral nearby that afternoon. The food in the evening and for breakfast was well prepared. The breakfast timing was good as it went on until 10:00. The staff were all polite and very accommodating and helpful.
Very nice indeed!…… very high standard of finish in every way.
Quirky in my flat 2 in the basement under the original brick archway features!…. A real nice touch!
Probably the best place I have stayed in a long time and the price is good. No complaints at all.
Will defo be back here when I want to stay in Worcester again…… this is my place of choice.
The heating was on when we arrived and the house was warm, clean and comfortable. The beds are very comfortable and the shower is good. This is the second time we have stayed here as it is very convenient for where we want to be in Worcester. It is an easy walk into the city, the river walks and, for sports fans, to the cricket ground and race course.
Spacious and comfortable room, good bathroom. Fairly quiet when I stopped. Close to the historic part of town. Breakfast ("the best in Worcester") is oversold - okay if you like buffet cooked items, but not much choice otherwise. Would use the hotel again but eat out!
This is my 2nd stay here & have booked again to return in December with family. Spotlessly clean hotel. Beds are super comfy. Shower is amazing. Kettle, tea/coffee/water stocked in room daily. Staff are really helpful & friendly. A MUST if you’re in Worcester.
Hotel is located very close to the station and is in a good position to explore Worcester. Room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel looked after our luggage as we had arrived early and this enabled us to explore.
I always stay at the Diglis Hotel when traveling to Worcester and I am never disappointed. The staff are friendly as always. The breakfasts are world class and the rooms as comfortable as ever. Thanks team Diglis. you will see me again :)
What a fantastic hotel. Would definitely recommend for trip to Worcester. The staff were so pleasant and helpful and food was fantastic. We enjoyed our stay so much we booked there and then for New Year's Eve
Everything. I was rather overwhelmed. Clean and comfortable and really much better than I had expected. I will certainly stay again and recommend The Crown as a place to stay in Worcester for others.
The room was really good and a good size too. The bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a really powerful shower. Best hotel we have stayed in in the Worcester area.
Loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant and bar area. Staff were welcoming and professional and our room was great. Breakfast choice was excellent, and good delicious.
Location was great for a quick exploration of Worcester. Hotel is an old pub so typical quirkiness of old buildings. Breakfast was OK - not great like the reviews indicated
The Hotel needs a total refurbish but would stay again as the staff were so friendly nothing was to much trouble. The location was great so central for shops and bar's.
