The room was large and well fitted in an old stle that is rare to find these days, beautifully done by the owners. The hostess was very friendly and obliging as always (our 3rd or 4th stay - all equally good. Benavente is large enough to still be lively and open in November, unlike town on the pilgrim route.

We didn't know anything about this small town but obviously other travellers did as there were plenty of them! Lovely hotel with a friendly welcome and easy on-street free parking. We could have a drink in the bar, and it was only 7 min drive to Benavente where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.

Perfect location above the city, spacious room, quiet, Parador-large beds and wonderful bathroom with a double shower (!) and a remote controlled Japanese toilet. The restaurant is a recommendation with very good service.

After eventually finding a cafe with wifi I was told to ho across town to another hotel to get the key - I stayed at the other hotel.
