The Hotel Cienbalcones is a magnificent hotel set in a beautiful town of Daroca and for me an ideal stop on the way to Santander from The Costa Blanca. Cobbled streets , lots of small cafeterias to choose from . Very friendly people . Obliging with directions. And lots of historic buildings with typical Spanish architecture. Enchanting.

It's Walls and up to the Moorish fort are so scenic and offer a lot of walking, it really is a bit lost in time. Recommend for a nights stop.
If we had not stayed here we would have missed a treat - town and hotel

Very old town with cobbled streets and what seemed like churches everywhere, high arches at each end of main street allowing vehicle access to tiny shops and some side roads so narrow, only pedestrians can use.
Lovely town to visit but also very small
I did not complete all the questions regarding the hotel. The message did not respond in total, with regards to my thoughts and comments on this hotel and village, yes in my opinion the village is one of the amazing best and only topped by the pleasure of staying 3 times in the last year at this property, the most amazing staff, hotel and a superb village, could not top it and my serious thoughts given to the Ukrainian young lady Yana and her family supported with work at the Cienbalcony hotel
Great for our one night stop over in an interesting little town.
Spacious, very clean room overlooking the hotel's courtyard with bath & shower. A small fridge was also a benefit ( very handy).
We had a fantastic meal in the evening which was great value. We also enjoyed a great breakfast.
Hotel parking, although we parked on the street opposite.
A perfect stop for us & we would definitely stay again.
We liked the location of the property and its design around a courtyard. Our room was large with 3 balconies. Parking was limited but we found a slot and walking around the town was very pleasant in the evening. The breakfast was varied and interesting. We did not use the hotel restaurant for our evening meal as we found a more interesting menu just down the street.
A really nice hotel in the middle of Daroca, a beautiful old town. The part with the restaurant is old with a beautiful garden. Then there is a more modern annex opposite where I stayed. The dinner was good and economical and the breakfast was excellent too. I was cycling and they were very helpful about leaving the bike. The hotel was excellent value for money.
Hotel was as expected overall. Rooms are comfortable, large and plenty of storage. Perhaps the shower arrangement is a bit dated (over the bath with a curtain. ) The location is good in the town centre ( although the car parking was difficult to find at first) .
Restaurant was excellent as were the staff.
Tremendous value.
Hotel Cienbalcones nails it on every aspect. It delivers on room size, quality, comfort and (what was most important to us, as a family with young kids) on quietness. Expect an ok breakfast with fresh produce and the restaurant and wine list do a good job in the meats and the wine list.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Good selection on the dinner menus and a great continental breakfast. Daroca is a lovely town and the hotel Is a regular stop off while traveling
Our room was in a beautiful new annex across the road from the original hotel. Really generous tasty breakfast was served in the old part. Bikes stored safely. One of our best stays.
This was a return trip for us. Lovely hotel staff very friendly welcoming and helpful
Food was excellent
Daroca is beautiful lots of history plenty of places to visit
Pleasant hotel in this old picturesque town, lovely courtyard with bar and restaurant, menu del dia available...I had a very tasty lamb stew. Good price.
