The location is amazing. One of the best spots I've ever been. Surrounded by the sea that goes and comes as a result of the Cantabria see tides, gives you a complete diferent landscape every day. The hotel restaurant, often rewarded in the past by the Michelin guide, is still a very good place to eat a fantastic see food.
Hotel Campomar is located on the beachfront in Isla, on Cantabria’s Green Coast. It features an outdoor pool with sun terrace, à la carte restaurant, 33 ft² of gardens and wonderful sea views.

La ubicación, el trato con el personal, la comida...
Located right by the beach of this beautiful coastline, this hotel has lots of charm and bright rooms with private balconies. Eat well in the restaurant.
Čisté a skvěle dostupné. Pobyt jsme si nakonec o prodloužili
Isla is a lovely place. We stayed a Saturday night and it was very lively. Good vibe in and around town. Very busy but not noisy and felt very safe. Would recommend the area but not the hotel we stayed in, Hotel Astuy. We stayed here as it’s only a short drive to Santander for the ferry next day

The sea is lovely but usually too rough to actually swim, just enjoyl the waves. You can also bathe in the river. It is unusual to have both river and sea next to one another.
Isla itself is a really nice place, a variety of shops and restaurants and a good place for an evening sea front walk.

the danger is what we like may not suit everyone. suffice to say we keep returning to Isla Playa for the past 25 years often staying at the Olimpo & or the fabulous campsite ~ full on Spanish with noisy neighbours huge families ( we have counted over 10 on the next pitch) at the far end of the village,( We are Campervanners) as well as frequent hotel guests. There are 5+ excellent sandy beaches with safe swimming even for children

Beautiful beaches, with clean sea water. A quiet resort and very attractive.
Hotel Alfar had attractive outdoor seating area by the beach. They served reasonable food throughout the day at a good price. Staff were very helpful, and spoke some English.

There were two beach areas, one very calm and good for swimming, one with more waves and better for surfing. Lots of rocks for rock pooling when the tide was out, and beautiful views out over the ocean. The town had lots of restaurants and cafes, plenty of nice hotels and touristy activities.

Lovely little town, many restaurants and hotels to choose from. Not too far from Santander if you are coming in on the ferry. Good beaches and showers on the beach. We were there in August and there were many Spaniards on holiday there, no other Brits - we thought that was good!
Very good value for money.....the location is perfect. Very clean, lovely large balcony over looking the sea... nice bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a large bed room. We had two kids with us so had to use the pull out beds in living room which were very comfy....swimming pool and out door area is nice it had umbrellas for shade which was great with the kids needing a break from the sun...There's free parking too.
Hotel is quite old but in a very good condition and very helpful stuff. Uniq location where the hotel is surrounded by ocean, seems like you are "between 2 seas", when you need a boat to cross the water after 17:00. It's an amazing especially for kids. Nice restaurant with delicious food despite some dishes were too salted.

As the staff were very helpful and kind and the lady at breakfast was just lovely. The location is perfect right at the beach. Isla is very beautiful with multiple different beaches opportunities for walks runs and water sports. We were really impressed with both the hotel and location and will certainly return
The hotel is located right on the beach, and the town (even in May) is pretty lively. The young lady who served us breakfast was very, very sweet and helpful. The bed and shower were comfortable, and the room was spacious and had a small fridge and a balcony.
The manager of the hotel was lovely, very welcoming. She worked so hard to ensure it was clean and tidy.
I would really recommend staying here if you want exceptional budget accommodation.
The breakfast was good and very cheap. The manager served you.
Location. You need to have a car to travel around this area. Beautiful beaches of Isla and Noja just 3-5 km away from this property.
Small heated pool and two jacuzzis. And it is open until 10pm.
