First, the staff, they were very welcoming and friendly. Second, everything went smoothly without any complications. Finally, the comfort which I think was the best thing in the hotel so far. And all of that for a reasonable price.
Located in Midelt, in eastern Morocco, Hotel Kasbah Asmaa sits in the middle of a garden and has an on-site restaurant. You can enjoy and relax on the furnished terrace, by the fountain.

The hotel rooms were pretty large. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were only there as an overnight rest stop to Fes. So we didn’t need nothing too fancy and this hotel served its purpose.

Overall very good size apartment and close to highway, we stayed for one night from our way from Fez to Merzouga to avoid a long drive. Apartment has all necessary items for a comfortable stay. Owner was very prompt and was available to check us in on time and showed up property. He even gave us option to choose one of two apartments he had available for night.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town.
This place has the feel of a rough and ready desert town. It has a variety of people who live here, and was dry as a bone when we stayed. We were hoping to hike the surrounding countryside but couldn’t get it together so walked around the various neighbourhoods. This turned out to be a great experience. We found a very interesting Berber village, a completely unexpected Catholic monastery, and a very bizarre but beautiful guesthouse.
We were surprised by this town and think that you might be too.

This is our second trip to Midelt which is a small country...
This is our second trip to Midelt which is a small country town in the High Atlas. Although it was mid-April the weather was cold and the surrounding mountains were covered in snow. This is a town you pass through on the way to other places, though it is worthwhile taking a stroll through the centre. We were disappointed to discover that Kasbah Myriam, an excellent carpet shop, had closed down to the death of the owner. A real shame.
This is truly the best stop for travellers! We arrived when it was dark and Mohammed immediately found us, greeted us warmly and showed us the place. It is a shared flat, so there could have been other people staying there but we had the place to ourselves. Beds are comfortable, shower and bathroom is clean. Mohammed's shop is also very handy and right next to the flat, he has great fresh fruits, veggies and meat. Midelt also has a beautiful monastery called Notre Dame d'Atlas that we were able to visit after staying here.
The host of the Kasbah was very kind and accommodating. We were late getting there, and the host patiently gave us directions. Our diver was exhausted after 9 hours of driving, so the host was kind enough to offer the driver a room, without sending him off to look for lodging in the town of Midelt. They even made me a special vegetarian meal as I said I wouldn't eat beef, which was on the menu that night. The Kasbah is located in a beautiful area surrounded by apple orchards and other crops. Best lodging in Midelt!
Awesome! The hotel has an attached cafe bar. Order your drink, cafe 10dr, orange juice 12, banana juice 15dirham. They bring drink to your room for no extra cost. Parking is super easy, i n front of the hotel. Absolute safe. Medina is 6-10 mins walk. Street vendors, food, fruit clothes on good price. Rooms are clean, breakfast is great. Coffe, orange juice, milk, croassoint, bread, olive, butter, hot porridge.
The apartment is really wonderful, modern and clean. It was really nice to find such a comfortable space after sleeping in a tent in the dessert for a few nights. Even the laundry machine was a new model and really large. Midelt is the perfect stop for a journey between Merzouga and Fez. Our host met us when we arrived and was very kind. There is street parking in front.
This is the third time I've stayed in this hotel and it never fails to provide an exceptional welcome to its guests. From the moment you walk in the door, you are greeted as an honored guest and, as with my second and third stay, as a friend and neighbor. The team is attentive but never intrusive. I feel at home when I come here and look forward to my next visit.
Kasbah Izoran is the perfect location after visiting the busy city of Fes. The host is very kind and is willing to answer to all you questions. The authentic food was delicious and was one of the best diners we have had in Morocco. The location is also outstanding. With a 10 min walk you will find a beautiful canyon. Would 100% recommend
it was actually like a one bedroom apartment. You could see that someone really took a lot of time to make sure everything was very nice and presentation difficult to fine. Had it not been for a guy that just happened to hold up a sign for the hotel in front of a market, as a creep in my car, , I never would’ve found it

A modern apartment located close to Midelt. The apartment was spacious with fantastic facilities. We appreciated having access to a washing machine.
The hosts provided helpful information with dinner options.
We truly enjoyed our stay here.
Clean rooms, good location for a stop off. Staff very helpful. I has my motorbike parked outside in view of the security cameras, but the Hotel thought it would be better in their garage. Great breakfast
The hotel rooms were pretty large. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were only there as an overnight rest stop to Fes. So we didn’t need nothing too fancy and this hotel served its purpose.
The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Perfect place for a pitstop between Fez and Merzouga. Even with a nice pool. The best bed we have had so far in Marocco. Great breakfast and dinner!
The room was very lovely decorated, one of our favourites in two weeks of travel in Morocco. The host is very welcoming, warm and friendly. Great for a rest stop in Midelt.
staff was lovely! breakfast very cozy, different than advertised there was no hotel parking but parking on street right in front of the hotel was not an issue at all
The beds were extra comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Excellent choice for a one night stop over in Midelt. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
