As the city that brought paella to the world, Valencia is a culinary delight. Don't miss out on sipping fresh, local orange juice or enjoying tasty tapas in a sidewalk café.
Wandering this relaxed city is like taking a walk through history. From the Roman remains in the archaeological museum to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, the architecture ranges from the dramatic to the sublime. A mix of styles from the outside, medieval Valencia Cathedral comes into its own inside. The gilt carvings and vibrantly-painted dome are a sight to behold.
The greatest triumph of city planning is the Turia River Park. Created on the bed of a redirected river, it provides much-needed shade in a city with an impressive sunshine record. Of course, you can always cool down on the fantastic beaches, lapped by warm Mediterranean waters.
Former hosts of the European Grand Prix, Valencians take their sport seriously and so they should. Try to take in a match at the 75,000-seater Valencia FC stadium to experience the electric atmosphere.
As Spain’s 3rd largest city, Valencia has wild nightlife, so if that’s your cup of tea, city center hostels are a great choice. Alternatively, Booking.com also has guesthouses, central apartments and even hotels near Valencia Airport.

I’ve marked all wort to visit objects of València before arrival as the most tourist do. And skipped a lot of them. Let me explain.
The most of catholic churches look the same everywhere, “plaza” is an empty space unless filled with people and action. I’ve walked around old town for half a day blended in to the crowd, observing, listening, getting sense of interactions, mood and
building the sense of culture here.
But, futuristic looking Science Center with IMAX Hemisphere and Ocean Center are unique to València. Inspiring architecture, live and interesting experiences there contributed to overall picture of València and its heritage.
Please bear in mind that old riverbed with multiple parks and playa de la Malvarossa are another pieces not to be left out.
I’ve stopped at Granier for a cup of coffee Cortado. Unfortunately, as a solo traveler I couldn’t get a seat at the famous paella house La Pepica. Maybe next time.

Valencia is one of those rare cities where you can combine city centre sightseeing with a day or more at the beach.
We went to Madrid last October and Valencia is in my opinion less polished but perhaps that makes it more authentic. And Madrid doesn't have an enormous beach & marina does it?
The Metro is very easy to negotiate and cheap! 13 euros for unlimited 3 days of use.
Metro / tram stations are not as regular in the city centre as perhaps I'd have liked but the ticket covers the buses as well but we just walked a bit further
we did 4 days 3 nights but truth is we would happily have stayed longer
Certainly worth a visit

Fantastic city to visit.
Fantastic city to visit. The parks and gardens that cut through the city are wonderful to walk through - or ride a bike through. So much to see here - we walked to Mercado Central, Torres de Serranos, Font del Turia, Placa de la Reina, Placa Redonda and a local fiesta was on with locals dressed in traditional clothes. Had a wonderful day here. Unfortunately as it was a Monday some museums etc were closed but would happily return to visit the things we missed. Also of course the Aquarium and Science Park were very impressive - even just viewed from outside! Beautiful city both modern and historic and very easy to get around.

The place has been upgrade based on the surrounding buildings and a bit off the main tourist attractions. 10 minutes walk to the hop-on-hop-off bus pick up. The units are very clean except for an occasional drain pipe smell that can be alleviated by leaving the a/c on. Grocery stores are right outside the building and a money exchange and small department store, so you have access to the things you need. There are two Framacia in the neighborhood, so you are well accommodated. Very cute space with a small elevator for handicap accessibility.

I have been many times as i have family there but its a fantastic place to visit for a weekend or family city break. fantastic cuisine, great shopping. lovely beach interesting places to visit and fantastic botanical gardens, oceanographic centre, park that is stupendous and beaches with paella restaurants. what more could anyone want on holiday.
I was living my best beach life! This is a really nice apartment. It is right on the beach and the terrace the perfect place to relax and think about things or get some work done (the WIFI was great). The host was full of tips, jokes and information she even has binoculars so you can people watch down below! The apartment was extremely clean the whole time I was there. The bedroom was also very nice, the bed was one of the coziest in Spain. It’s such a cute little vacation town I hope to go again one day!
We booked two nights but at separate times, I had not realised the 2nd night would be a shared bathroom, I had not read it correctly, the hotel was fully booked so nothing to be done, however on re checking in for our 2nd night the very lovely owner had managed to sort out a room with a bathroom for us, this really made our day. Can't thank him enough, the hotel.is budget and basic but it's also cheap for the location , would stay again
The hotel is right on The beach and our room had a very nice view over the beach and the sea. The room is just like the pictures.
The breakfast was varied with everything you need. The 95 bus's stastion is right the corner and we took it to go to the Oceanografic.
Even though the hotel does not have a parking, all the street în front of it is a Free parking area.
We. Recommend The hotel. We will come back for sure :)
lovely relaxed hotel, perfectly located at the old town near all the historical attractions. helpful, friendly staff. roof was very comfortable & quiet. breakfast was a highlight, large range of options including delicious fresh fruit, cereals, hot dishes like scrambled egg, bacon, sausages, fresh tomatoes, etc, and a range of cold meats, cheeses, home made pastries. Best hotel breakfast we’ve had in Spain:)
Everything, location; staff, bed… even Wi-Fi…
Went I booked, I was a bit scary… because I saw some “bad” reviews about the room was too small../
But OMG..: ppl want to cheap so cheap and stay at 5stars hotel..
No, it isn’t 5stars, but perfect to discovery the city and have a good place to sleep…
Staff was very friendly to me… GRACIAS!
The restaurant on the 9th floor has the best paella in Valencia (which has the best paella in Spain). Highly recommended: Duck Confit Paella and the appetizer of cured beef carpaccio. The lobby area is a great place to sit and have a cocktail or coffee and chat with the staff, plan your next outing, or just relax.
Beautiful hotel design. Lots of natural light and mirrors in the room. Fancy products in the bathroom. Great service -- 24-hour check-in for our late flight arrival. Amazing breakfast!! Location is close-ish to the airport. Valencia seems small overall though so not sure if that would be true for a lot of hotels.
The staff were exceptional. The hotel itself is stunning & full of history. We found it to be in a perfect location and only a short and cheap cab drive away from the beach/ business district.
I would highly recommend staying at Caro Hotel & would definitely choose to stay there again if I returned to Valencia.
Very clean and cozy hotel in the heart of Valencia. For us it was the perfect place to start exploring the city. The room was very clean, big and cozy, the breakfast was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was nearby: shops, restaurants, transport and main attractions.
This is a beautiful hotel. The location is excellent, allowing an easy stroll through the Old Town. Lots of restaurants and boutique shops around. The staff were very friendly and helpful- best hospitality of the places we have had so far. The experience was very calming. Can recommend.
Exceptional from start to finish! We loved interacting with the managers and the team. Everything was described in great detail and exceeded our expectations. Staying here made our Spain trip. We cannot wait to return to Valencia and it’s because our stay was amazing!
This is a modern and very attractive hotel in the old section of Valencia. Our room was good size and beautifully appointed. Our windows overlooked an attractive square. The breakfast was good quality. The staff were very obliging and pleasant.
Great hotel on the beach front.
The restaurant food was excellent and the staff super.
The Staff on reception were most helpful, and help us make the most of our few days in Valencia.
We highly recommend
After a very long drive....3 weeks staying in different areas of Spain was great to be greeted by Rodrigo at the front desk, very professional and knowledgeable about the area, and recommendations.
As usual, I always stay at Dau studioswhen in Valencia as the rooms are always clean and extremely comfortable. George/ Jorge always makes sure all in the hotel is tip top!
Located on the beach, view was great. We stayed in the separate apartment, in the building next to the hotel, last floor.
The apartment was spacious, well equipped kitchen.
