It was a great experience and the right decision visiting the Halkidiki Palace hotel. Starting from the first day felt the care and warm attitude from the staff. They gave an option to choose between two rooms with balcony and sea view, breakfat was delicios and great variety. Beach was very calm and clean, 5 min walk from the hotel. Special thank to the waitress Keti and both receptions who were anytime available and ready to help and respond all our questions. Highly recommended, would visit the hotel in future again.

Very nice villa with a big garden. A lot of places outside with showers to get off the sand when you come from the beach. Rooms for 2 aren't big, but you have enough space to leave your bags. Each room has its own bathroom and mini kitchen. The girls are emptying everyday trash bins and also clean if you need/want daily. There is a small beach 200m from the villa.

Polychrono is a lovely village with one of the nicest promenades in halkidiki, with a great variety of places to eat and drink - many with tables on the beach itself. Lovely atmosphere - relaxed and friendly. Great for families and couples who enjoy spending their evenings walking the promenade, a nice meal and chilling with a drink or two in beautifully decorated bars. Much better beaches to be had in halkidiki, but polychrono beach is typical of many town beaches in halkidiki. You definitely need a car to explore the area - afitos was nearby and is a stunning village and makes for a great evening out. The place is perfect for a family vacation with small kids, it is quiet, the beach and water are perfect, and there are several markets close by wherever your apartment is located. Doctor of Hunger is a great place to eat at. :)

The owner was super friendly and so were the cleaning ladies. Although they didn’t speak English very well, somehow we understood each other. The hotel is right in front of the bus stop which is very convenient if you’re coming by bus from Halkidiki. There is a place you can park your car if you’re coming by car. The hotel is not far from the beach, just a 10min walk if not less. We absolutely LOVED our stay there and will definitely come back!

No issues with language barriers in regards to English. The parking is private and gated, a few minutes away from the hotel, by foot. Breakfast was ok, only thing I missed was an espresso machine as there was only instant and Turkish coffee. You could get an espresso at the bar though, extra charge. The beach is very close and sunbeds were free in September.
