Lovely little town, interesting buildings and some good restaurants particularly “ Pasent” down on the river and “ Bermot” in town. Hotel Premier President was charming! But.....don’t rely on the public buses as we waited for 50 minutes in town for a number 62 to take us to Novi Sad, but it never came. Taxi to Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad around 900 dinars.

We were quite pleasantly surprised that Villa 1880 is such an amazing place - decorated with a lot of taste, and at the same time extremely clean and comfortable. The garden and the overall atmosphere were cozy and beautiful, and the place is close to all major attractions and to the center of Sremski Karlovci, and also close to the Danube river. The hosts were more than friendly and hospitable - we felt like home. We will go back for sure! :)
