loved the location, but was put out by the room being dirty, the bed was made , but the floors & around the bed needed sweeping & washing ,,,milldew around the ceiling ...a wash with bleach would have taken care of that

Summerland Key was good for staying there to dive, but went to Key West during evenings as it was Fantasy Fest. A 35 min drive and event parking was available. So it was a fun weekend with diving and evenings in Key West

Great people, location and good price for the location.
Great people, location and good price for the location. Had great food at the Tiki Bar and live music. Felt relaxed in that type of environment. Recharged my batteries and got home feeling rested and happy.
We stayed in one of the cottages. It was very clean, with a nice layout. The amenities were wonderful. There is a big tiki hut for social gathering, as well as a fire pit. We used the pool, kayaks and the "aquabanas" (floating seating with table and covering for shade) and played corn hole. There was live music, also. We were near the pool and the big tiki hut, but it was very quiet at night. The staff was very friendly. The location was great! Only 20 minutes to Key West.
We stayed in one of the bungalows on the property. We loved that it was right on the water & had many amenities to take advantage of, including a pool, kayaks, and the "aquabanas". Our bungalow was new, clean, & very easy to find with the instructions & map provided. Only a 30 min drive to Key West...some may say this is a disadvantage but we loved being able to retreat back to a quieter area in the Keys after being in Key West during the day.
I needed a stop between Key West & Key Largo ... so I guess I liked that.
Everything else about my experience is bad. The most expensive hotel I have been in the Keys & by far the worst.
I booked this hotel to go diving and it was not possible.
