Located in West Atlantic City, this hotel provides access to a private beach. The hotel offers a modest gym and is 5.5 miles from the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Very friendly staff room is nice and clean bed was comfortable. There was a water line break out front of the hotel, and they had to shut the water off, but it was off for a very very short time, and they were very good about keeping everyone updated on the situation.

Showboat Hotel Atlantic City, hotel in West Atlantic City

Located along the boardwalk, Showboat Hotel Atlantic City offers accommodations Atlantic City. This beachfront property features on site restaurants.

The location was good. I like the fact that they did build an indoor waterpark for everyone for the adults and the kids, but I feel bad once you buy your ticket and you’re staying there. You should have access to the waterpark every day as long as you’re staying in the hotel if you’re outsiders coming in then of course you should pay each day you come in the hotel is very old. The rugs could use washing and vacuuming daily. It was stains in the rugs, the hallways didn’t smell clean The rug smell like an old mop my mirror in the bathroom was broken. The bed had no mattress cover underneath the sheets. It was just a pure mattress which also had stains on it with the sheet on top of it way more restaurants that need to be open, catering to children and adults, and they need way more staff to help out and answer questions when people have questions

There is everything you need at this resort. A plethora of options for food and entertainment. The heated indoor/outdoor pool and hot tubs were very nice. This resort is kept immaculate. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed on the 40th floor and had the most incredible view of the coast along with city views of all of Atlantic City. The perfect getaway.

This hotel should not be featured or endorsed by Booking.com. Nothing about that place was as advertised. The bedbugs were just the icing on the cake. Horrible. Manager was horrible, everything about the place was horrible

We were pleasantly surprised by The Ramada.

We were pleasantly surprised by The Ramada. They have 2 buildings, The one in the back is older so I asked to be in the main building. Don,t believe all the negative reviews. When booking, just call the front desk and ask them for one of the newer rooms. Ours had new carpeting and new bedding. Plus the complimentary breakfast was very good. Overall, a great bang for your buck.

    Nothing went well!

Nothing went well! We park in the parking lot that was not shoveled properly end up slipping and almost falling before the bad weather started. Then I checked in. Said I had a reservation and get a puzzled expression. Moments later get told that I am being charged a deposit on top of the reservation which did not state that on the site nor in the confirmation I received. Get into the room that was supposed to be a smoking room only to find a room that is filthy with a beeping fire alarm and no ashtray. I try to warm my frozen hands and turn on the water that comes out in brown blobs and guess what no hot water not even warm water. My husband is upset because he wanted to shower before we go to our romantic valentine dinner. We go back into the lobby and see now two puzzled expressions when I ask for an ashtray. Only to find out that I have not gotten a smoking room for the what I booked and thought I just paid for. The one very rude younger man at the desk blames Booking.com for the mix up and says they have no smoking rooms available and the website should not have put it there. Now my husband is getting angry and he says he wanted to cancel the room. I am nearly in tears and my heart is breaking because it was supposed to be a romantic weekend. Because we were being so loud I thought the clerk was calling the cops however he said he was arranging for us to get a smoking room. And offers as a perk us to check out at 1 pm instead of 12! Wow! We were so excited! (Not!!!) The room was dirty. The toilet was not cleaned they only gave us three pillows (I better not get charged for a pillow!) And thereś more. The microwave doesn´t work the coffee maker does not work. The bed covers were stiff and smelled. And the television was only showing half a screen. I´m expecting not to get back my deposit because this place and experience was such a nightmare. We missed our reservation for a romantic dinner and had to settle for McDonalds because it took so long to get help!

    Parking and location was great.

Parking and location was great. Relatively good driving distance...about 10 minutes to the atlantic City boardwalk. The advertised "private" beach was very small and disappointing. No waves at all. There was so much trash if you walk down the sand. Also, the bathroom smelled like pee. They didn't clean very well. Only to- go breakfast available. A water costs $3. I will not being coming back. If you pay $100 more you can stay at a much nicer hotel with a pool and actual beach.

Check in was easy, hotel staff were friendly. I need a pet friendly hotel and this was fine. Fee is on the high side, $40 per night. Breakfast was adequate. Had eggs and sausage along with cereal and bagels, coffee and juice. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. The pool was great. My granddaughter enjoyed swimming.

Atlantic City, not in walking distance to the boardwalk, so not that expensive, but surely not cheap. The hotel is dated, however it looked like renovations were underway, so it might be nicer for future customers. For one night, it was o.k.

The only thing I can't complaint was I paid almost $120 comparing next door hotel Ramada $165 on a Saturday. I rather pay the $165 or Hotels at the boardwalk which cost about $200-300.
