Retro and rustic setting with lovely landscaping and outdoor seating area. The staff was super welcoming and friendly. Our room (01) was very bright and comfortable, attractive and clean, surprisingly quiet, and had a good king bed. We will definitely stay here every time we come to Florence for a round of golf.

Location was good. Located on the main street in Florence. The location made it easy to travel to destinations, stores, etc. The person that helped me was very nice and friendly.

Came to look at houses in various towns!! Sea Lion Cave was interesting. The Pancake Mill is a great place to get breakfast. Of course it was raining a lot so it was not the time to go shopping and looking at other places...but we will be back when the weather is better!!

The Waterfront Depot restaurant shouldn't be missed but get a reservation. The food and service are top notch.
Traveler's Cove has really good Mexican food. The ambience is fair but there is a nice view. Great service.
The Restobar restaurant should be avoided. The food is terrible, and the ambience is ok if you like batting flies away from your food. The service is below average.

There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town.
There are really only 2 options to say in Florence Old Town. Both are right next to Old Town. I have chosen Old Town Inn for both of my stays in Florence. I really enjoy Florence Old Town; it is right along the banks of the Suislaw River. Cute shops and restaurants abound. Many a harbor seal to be found in the river. If you get tired of the river, and Old Town, don’t fret…the sand dunes and the ocean are just on the other side of Hwy 101. Florence is a larger Oregon Coastal Town; therefore if you need something the quaint shops of Old Town cannot provide, Florence has you covered. Florence is also just over an hour away from Eugene, and Newport (Yachats is only 25 min away). Will you enjoy Florence? Absolutely!

I have always loved Florence.
I have always loved Florence. The Old Town has lots of good restaurants and shopping. It's very relaxing and is nice and cool in the summer! There is a really nice nursery on the north end of town and you can drive around the countryside and looks around.

Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must!
Sea Lion Caves were worth the price! Old Town is a must! Darlingtoniia Preserve was a quick 5 minute adventure. Too much to do in a short trip! Lovely town, but very, very windy when hot in the valley.

I love Florence Oregon!
I love Florence Oregon! We visited the beach where they blew up the dead whale in the 1970's! 😜 Biggest down fall is their aren't a lot of restaurants to choose from. The ones they have, have good food, just not a lot of dining space. Beautiful weekend lots of sun.q
We booked through booking when we arrived at the hotel they didn’t have our room reserved. The only one they had available was a king bed. We had two children so had to run down to the local store and buy air mattresses. The staff at the front desk didn’t seem to care didn’t offer us a refund or even a partial refund room wasn’t very clean Location was great. Won’t be staying there anytime soon.
There’s no getting around it, this hotel is in need of refurbishment. But any shortcomings here are more than made up for by the attitude of the staff. John on reception, is the consummate professional, going well beyond my expectations to help me out when I had a transport problem. I really can’t praise his attitude highly enough - whatever they’re paying him isn’t enough.
For an older motel the rooms are very clean with some nice upgrades. Lots of light in the bathroom is important for my wife and she was very happy. Except for not being on the beach or river, for us this place is as good or better than any place in Florence. We will definitely stay here again.
Thanks Clancy and staff. We had a great stay.
Driftwood shores has lovely views right on the beach, you can see the ocean from your window and walk right down to the water. They also have a shop/deli within the hotel which is convenient as the closest town with food is about a 10-15 minute drive and if you arrive late it's a good option.
Classic American motel that is close to the main road, has free parking and clean rooms and no frills. We used the motel for a weekend in Florence. There was a short 15 minute walk to Florence old town center and two good breakfast diners (Dunes and Brown Hen) minutes from the motel.
Great location near beach! Private and quiet house only a short walk to the beach. The house had all the amenities that we would have expected and more. It was only short drive to surrounding activities, such as old town Florence, Sea Lion Caves, and the trails at nearby parks.
Although there are few amenities, the Landmark Inn is basic, simple, and very pleasant. It was absolutely quiet at night, and the inn is in a good location - within walking distance from Old Town. This will be our go-to place when we come to Florence again.
Breakfast was average for a breakfast included motel. Location was okay, convenient to the areas that we wanted to see. Other hotels had much better views. But if you need a reasonable place to stay with friendly staff this is a fine choice.
It was a wonderful trip to the hotel, But we had car problems and brought another car to the Ford Dealer. Thanks to the wonderful people down in Florence's. We will be back to sell our other car. We like to visit Florence beaches and parks.
The cleanliness of the room was unexpectedly amazing. Also, on the outside it really gives off the vibe of the motels Sam and Dean stayed in during the first season of Supernatural, loved that!
Love the quiet location, the area for my labradoodle to run and the wonderful staff! Super clean retro environment and not just 2 Keurig cups!! Always my first choice when exploring Florence!
Simple, older hotel with charm. We had a king bed in one room, second room that had 2 desks, beautiful view, 8-cup coffee pot with real coffee. Unexpected find in a lovely coastal/river town.
Clean spacious home for our group of 5. The host had excellent communication. We would choose this place again for our next visit to Florence. Thank you for a great stay!
