First of all the signs say La Quinta...not Baymont.
First of all the signs say La Quinta...not Baymont. So you might be driving up snd down looking for Baymond. The rooms are trash and nasty. The hispanic cleaning lafy was so rude .Front desk had us going back and forth for us to keep trying to open the door to the room, even after we told them the door is broken. Nothing worked in our room. Half the lights didn't work, TV remote didn't work. Key card lock didn't work, handle on front door went in circles and of course didn't work. Bathtub was soft and felt as if you were going to fall in. Felt unsafe. They DO NOT SERVE BREAKFAST. NOTHING A ALL. The entire place is so run down. I know the saying" you get what you pay for", but this place isn't worth even the $75 . I will never stay at this location again. I've emailed them over and over and called them and contacted Booking.com for a resolution and THE HOTEL WILL NOT RESPOND. PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT STAY HERE.

Nice small town vibe, close to Houston, Clearlake and the Kemah broadwalk. Hotels there are not as expensive as the aareas listed in the first sentence. The beach is really nice for families, not much wave action to knock little ones over.

Trash abundant outside on the grounds.
Trash abundant outside on the grounds. Steps broken with missing material and rebarb showing, Showed pool but was closed and dirty. Pools in area open. Help on desk didn't know the area around them as to how to how to help find locations, what was in the area, eating places except fast food in the immediate area. Didn't bring clean towels the next day, didn't replace bulb in bathroom as to be able to use the vanity.

Laporte Texas doesnt have alot to offer but has a good beach area and is kind of quiet and peaceful. It's close to bigger areas than can offer good shopping and dining experiences which makes it a good little geta way spot if it's what you want. The bigger city life is 15 to 20 minutes away and that is very convenient for me. They do have a Baytown Seaffod restaurant that offers great seafood at decent prices. I recommend it. Laporte is small but has enough to supply you with essentials. The other side of Laporte has a Walmart and an HEB foods which are usually only available at bigher areas and that is a good thing.

The staff was nice other than that i can't say i had a good experience. I just wanted to rest and couldn't do that. I'm traveling from Dallas Fort Worth arms decided to stop through here and get a room to rest before getting back on the road. Long story short I should've stayed on the road.
My family and I had a reunion and used the Home2 Suites for our designated hotel. We were very pleased with the accommodations. The rooms were very big and comfortable. The breakfast area was very clean and the staff constantly attended it. We also used their meeting room for our family gathering. We could not have picked a better place to have our family reunion.
Huge compliments to the cleaning staff, they do a very, very good job, I've never seen the room cleaned so thoroughly every day, the staff at reception are incredibly friendly, the hotel is generally very good.equipped clean new and in very good condition
There was something flying in my room agai guess. Matt and the toilet was very difficult to flush and there was only coffee and moonpies / cinnamon for breakfast I didn't realize how much the hotel had declined I heard that was after Covid hit.
I like the area where the hotel is located. It's near shops, grocery stores, restaurants, and the beach. This was definitely in a safe area. I had a decent couple of nights at this hotel, but I don't plan on returning.
The only thing I liked was the cheap rate for a week but was unable to stay 2 of the 7 days because of an injury. My room was on the second floor and I couldn't get up and down two flights of stairs
The price for the hotel was very nice for the amount of money per stay the hotel was very clean and quiet and a very good location I like the setup and how nice and neat the rooms are
I was surprised at the variety, and the eggs were delicious.
The staff were some of the friendlies I've encountered at a hotel.
It was quiet, and very restful. Nice large room.
The place was clean and fairly quiet. In fact, a public warning siren (refinery leak) was going off outside, but we couldn't hear it. Also near a nice beach!
