Customer service at the hotel was terrible Was built twice on my credit card for the same room. Tried to discuss the problem with the manager of the hotel, but he said he was too busy busy and transferred me to someone else. This is probably the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in would not recommend it.

We were only there for a day and went to a couple of museums but there's so much to see. We needed more time to cover more places. The history of this city is incredible. We highly recommend a visit if you're any type of history lover.

The best part was the free charging stations for the electric vehicles. The breakfast was mediocre and the check in process was horrible. Also they charge your cc before you ever arrive and it was not the booking rate I saved on this website and they blame that on booking.com . Additionally they accept no forms of payment other than credit card no cash. This place and room were not worth the price nor the 150.00 incidentals hold that still has not been released and I’m 2 days out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

I wish I had more time to do other things, but I got a lot done in the three days I was there. I went on a few city tours, and I can't say enough good things about the food. If you get a chance I would do a discover richmond food tour. It was great learning some of the history and enjoying food.

The breakfast was decent and had great coffee.
The breakfast was decent and had great coffee. The rooms smelled of smoke and I’m an asthmatic plus disable struggle with walking. The office contact me after a check in I reported the smell of smoke hit us as we entered the room. Staff never reached out to us as stated in my phone call. We advised we checked other rooms they smelled of smoke too. Staff just smiled and offered a fan. Since we were there for my niece. It was college move in week in the area other hotels were booked. Richmond is beautiful and people was very pleasant with southern charm.
We had a spacious room with comfortable beds. It was quiet for sleeping. It was great to be able to get up and go and help ourselves to breakfast.
The breakfast included hot food like eggs, sausage, waffles and toast, and also cold options such as cereal, yoghurt and fruit.
There is ample parking some of it in the shade.
The price was affordable and good value compared to other hotels we were considering.
The room was huge, clean and air conditioning worked well. We had a lovely view out of the 6th floor window of the city skyline. The downtown location was great, about a 10 minute walk to the civil war museum, 20 minutes to the capitol building. There are a few bars and restaurants nearby too.
Breakfast was nice, hot options as well as bagels and cereal.
Overall a good place to stay. Really friendly staff.
I travel a lot for work and pleasure. This is the best lower end price option in Richmond. If you think you are going to pay half the price of all the other hotels, and receive top accommodations, you are setting yourself up. This is clean decent place to stay. If you end up with bad neighbors, that is not the hotels fault. Facility or staff. It happens in top end places and lower.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is in a good location and was very historic andatmospheric. We thought the rooms were large, clean and comfortable. All the staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations of things to do and places to eat. Breakfast is available and we enjoyed it when we had it. There is a nice area to sit and relax.
The staff was very friendly and helpful and would respond promptly to requests, most times. The location was central to all of downtown Richmond. The lobby had several seating areas that were conducive to visiting or eating a meal. The rainwater shower head was pleasant and hot water plentiful. The hotel is dog and family friendly.
Location was very good for me as I needed to be close to the University of Richmond. Other than the omelette, breakfast was shockingly poor. Also over the weekend, the hotel lobby gets too noisy with tons of kids and people talking very loudly and the sound gets amplified to my room on the 7th floor.
The hotel is within a row of converted townhouses. We loved the historic feel, the large inner courtyard, the staff were friendly and efficient and who doesn’t like a hotel with its own cat! It is located within walking distance to downtown and restaurants. We plan to stay here again in the future.
Amazing, from staff to the room to the absolutely wonderful breakfast. Made-to-order omelets and bacon extra crispy, nothing more awesome! The hotel itself is beautiful, open, quiet and not stuffy like most hotels. Absolutely loved my stay and when I come back to Richmond, I will stay here. ❤️
The atmosphere was great. The location was quick to downtown really within walking distance. The view from our room was nice. The rooms were very clean and spacious and the decor was beautiful. the barn door in the bathroom gave me inspiration for our home.
The breakfast was amazing, the hotel was clean, everyone was polite, the only problem I had, was housekeeping kept coming to the room, they started at 9:30, and again around 10:30, to the point I called downstairs to make sure check out time was 12:00.
Breakfast was fantastic, room size and bed size was excellent, huge Samsung TV with good channel selection. Staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is big and located in a great place for driving to the various tourist attractions.
We stayed only for one night but found the hotel very comfortable, very big room, had a pool on the roof, and a rooftop bar. No breakfast included but a cafe in the lobby area serving breakfast (one person so service was a bit slow).
The hotel was beautifully appointed and the beds were very comfortable. The lobby and lounge/dining areas were inviting. The outdoor courtyard had a warming fire pit and the indoor pool looked clean. Parking was convenient.
The beds were so comfortable, very nice rooms and bathroom! Really nice place!! I really like this room and felt very at home. This is one of the better hotels in Richmond without spending $200 LOL
Location was the best and the rooms are large. Starbucks and fitness room located downstairs which was very convenient. Safety inside hotel is high however have to pay $25 a day to self park.
