Virginia Beach has a lot to offer from great beaches, entertainment, great restaurants etc. Gringos Mexican on Norfolk Avenue- great Mexican and I highly recommend the nostalgic Nicks Cafe of which a lot of the locals go with great food specials. Burgers are top notch. Too many places to list

If I could rate this place a negative zero I would but it's definitely a 1. Will be reporting this to management tomorrow. We checked in very late. Hair in the beds and tub. Refrigerator, toaster oven, and microwave dirty. Spider webs with some spiders throughout the house. Painting chipping throughout. Not the right number of beds listed. After I text management to verify. Extremely needs dusting, updating and some paint. Scuff marks throughout the whole house on the walls. Where's the foosball table? Extremely outdated. Very, very disappointed 😞

We went in Nov, so a lot of things were not open.
We went in Nov, so a lot of things were not open. We went to 2 local coffee shops and the Starbucks, and there was free coffee at our hotel. All the coffee was AWFUL, although the stuff at Starbucks was passable. We through all the other coffees away. All we can figure is it must be the city water, but we also though that it would be filtered. Bring your own water/coffee from home if you value a good cup of coffee in the morning like we do.

I’ve visited Va beach every year for almost 50 yrs and the Christmas light show view from this hotel was amazing. The sunsets and sunrises we saw with the Neptune statue in the foreground is nothing short of breathtaking. The hotel staff were super friendly and welcoming. The whole facility was neat, clean and festively decorated. The Restaurant and live band were awesome! My only suggestion would be to reinforce the no pets in the breakfast buffet area, I had 2 encounters there. Great time, we’ll be back!!! Happy Holidays!!

We've been visiting Virginia Beach for as long as my wife and I have been together (25 years.) This was the first time we stayed as far south as Sand Bridge and it was a bit different than other spots. Staying on Shore Drive or on a hotel on Atlantic Avenue are great if you are into shared spaces with other folks. Sand Bridge is delightful for extended family or a private spot on the beach.
During the season, Va Beach is alive with night life, live music, great food options, the aquarium, the water park, and plenty of options on the boardwalk. If you are curious about history, check out the Cavalier Hotel. The Convention Center is great for business meetings, and there are plenty of local breweries, distilleries, mom and pop restaurants, and golf courses. It's never as crowded as other beaches like Nags Head. Va Beach is a great destination for families, couples, or anyone trying to get out of the city or the suburbs for some time by the water.
For the price paid, you would like the hotel was on the boardwalk, but it is still in a great location. It was fine for a place to sleep - not many extra bells and whistles (considering price). Staff was friendly and welcoming. Again, location is good for walking to anything - loved being close to McMurphys and Starbucks, and just a block from the boardwalk. Back entry into hotel looks a little run down - maybe they are going to remodel? Pool is small but great for a dip and to sit and read a book.
The room was oceanfront as implied by the hotel’s name. It’s location was centrally located near all of the strip attractions. We were able to walk to most locations. When we needed to drive, our car was parked in the lot in front of the hotel, not a parking garage- which was available across the street. We chose this because we were traveling with parents in their 80s that don’t care for car garages in the busy season.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The newly renovated lobby is nice. The room and bathroom were spacious and the bed was comfy. The hotel restaurant is accommodating for those who want to do take-out/take-away because of the pandemic. It is affordable hotel located between Norfolk and Virginia Beach that provides a good home-base for exploring both areas.
It was clean. The pool was nice. Great location right on the boardwalk right on the main strip. The only issue was the parking very limited tight parking. We did have to park across the street one time. I feel like it was worth 100+ dollars a night we saved fast, and they are rather than the more expensive hotels nearby.
The room size and amenities fit the needs of our family of five. The location was perfectly across from the oceanfront. The shower head pressure was really nice as well. The hotel surpassed my expectations for the stay and it was way better than the Sheraton across the street, in which I stayed in the off-season.
Very relaxing and we were on the beach and enjoyed a weekend church revival...There is a Pub for drinks and eats...so cool...outdoor seating as well...indoor pool is great...I will make this my hotels whenever I'm coming to Virginia Beach.⛱️🌞🌊
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The hotel is very well located on the edge of the beach. The room was okay. The staff was qualified. Parking is very useful. Morning breakfast is all the rage thanks to the famous waffle machine. The restaurant adjoining the hotel can be useful.
Very nice hotel, you can tell they try their best to keep everything clean even though it's right on the beach. It's also fairly new so everything is working and in good shape so far. My family loved it so I would definitely stay here again!
My room was in a great part of the hotel. I was on the floor with the pool, interesting but totally fine. Not only did I have an ocean view but I also had a street view. If I have the chance to stay here again, I'll request rom 405.
The location and area of the Marriott was a perfect location to go to many of the surrounding stores, food location and entertainment. I love walking on the boardwalk. This time they had food trucks setting up.
I did expect the hotel to be further away from the boardwalk & all the shops , which was probably the only thing that was nice .. is that the beach had less people than staying on the boardwalk ..
Awesome location right on the beach next to the board walk. Great view of the ocean. Beds were comfortable. Will be using this hotel from now on when I'm in virginia beach.
I loved the view! OMG the Oceanfront was beautiful. The hotel was in the midst of all the action on the Boardwalk and easily located one block from the 258 Center Highway!
We were lied to and told hotel was on the beach it was not. We were told parking was free and it was not. I don’t blame hotel they were fine Booking.com lied
