The beds were comfortable and has access to heat in the room. What wasn't liked is the continental breakfast really wasn't a breakfast. we had to ask for the food and was told they have Danishes, oatmeal, cold cereal, juice and coffee. the Danish I received was it was handed to us from the staffing. That isn't a continental breakfast at all. I could have gotten that from a vending machine. Also, no coffee maker in the room and the tv remote control didn't not work. No elevators.

Port Orchard is a very nice place to enjoy the view in this beautiful and quiet home away, However inside the property is a different story the house needs some real TLC, upgrading and a dip clean up. The forniture is stained and dirty and some broken pieces and dangerours, 1. In the kitchen unanble to use the oven was very greasy and filthy, pots and pans have had their use and were also unclean and old where the tefflon has come off, again this is dangerous health wise,
2. the floors have not been cleaned for awhile as there were food drops and crums from prior renters,
3. the entrance coat closet was full of cleaning items including a used smelly uncleaned mop, a couple of electric heaterers, brooms, toilet paper holder unuseable. I can go on and on.
As I complained about to VACAS I received a phone call and they will be returning "cleaning deposit" Nice jesture but CLEAN IT UP!
Just know that you have been advised before you decide to rent this property.

The room was extremely comfortable and quiet.
The room was extremely comfortable and quiet. I stayed there due to the extreme heat in my area and I was pleased to see things worked efficiently. The staff was superb. They helped me with a quick checkin and made my stay enjoyable.

If the Covid restrictions and the rioters had not locked...
If the Covid restrictions and the rioters had not locked everything in the area down the place may have been a lot more enjoyable than it was. The hotel ended up more like a flop house with the lack of amenities and generic breakfast that was not suitable from an establishment charging the prices that this one did. The area looked like it would be fun to wonder around in if all of the stores, restaurants and lounges weren't closed. If the restrictions relax enough to open up normal commerce again, I'd say that I would try this hotel again under better circumstances. The rooms were more or less maintained and be wary of the parking lot. it is small, cramped and some spaces get blocked in with larger vehicles in adjacent stalls. The view was a saving grace as was the pet area. If I am up that way again I would try the hotel, assuming it is reasonably priced.

The stores, Josephine's Mercantile, Seaside Blonde, and Sidney Art Gallery were fun! We liked eating at the Brickhouse Bar and Grill. People are real friendly. All the flowers down town were lovely, and the marina and waterfront are stunning. Overall, a very charming downtown!
I went to a local restaurant for breakfast. I stay at your hotel once a year. Pet friendly , my dog loves the beach. I love the water front room , first floor is my favorite. The front desk and maintenance and cleaning staff were super friendly. Very nice stay at a fair price. I love the central location, the local thrift stores and antique merchants are fun. Dog parks are great. Wish I could stay longer , i know there is more to discover.
This hotel is just dandy for my purposes: a place to sleep. The pillows were comfortable (2 on the bed and one extra.) The room was spacious and comfortable. There were little touches like make-up wipes, probably to prevent mascara residue on white towels - good thinking. It is right off the freeway and easy to find.
This was not my first time at the hotel. I love the convenient access to downtown Port Orchard. You can walk and visit antique shops, the best cake and ice cream, foot ferry to visit Bremerton or Seattle and delicious restaurants. The place is always clean and the staff is always nice and helpful.
The location of this hotel is awesome. It's definitely an older hotel but there is a wonderful walkway along the waterfront. It is close to restaurants and right on the water. Free parking and a nice breakfast are good perks and make the stay even more enjoyable.
We like coming to this location which is convenient to both Port Orchard and Bremerton/Silverdale. The staff is cheerful, helpful, and efficient. The rooms are standard, yet clean and well kept overall. It's nice to be close to the water.
The people that work there are super friendly and it was very conveniently located to the historic section of town which was super cute. And that the hotel was right on the water was a wonderful bonus!
Nice little hotel for exactly what we needed - an inexpensive place to crash while in the area for a wedding. Rooms were fine, not great. It's an old hotel but value was good.
