My opinion is based on my 3 seperate hotel locations, my 1st stop was in Old Town Antalya and a 5 night stop was long enough before moving on to lower side, where were were on the Beach next to every restaurant in Turkey and plenty of cloths shops, this had the best boardwalk and a nice harbour for those wanting to take a boat trip. Our last trip between Side and Antalya was the best of the best if you only wanted to spend your time in the Hotel Resort [Barut B Suites], but as a location it was never going to work.KeithUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

Generally nice place to visit with long and spacious beach and long walking alley along the beach. The only negative impression leave the overpriced taxi services, without use of taximeter and all prices in EUR (10 euro for 3 km!!!) In so called "historical center" with shops on ancient ruins feels like all these ancient places were fake.

Interesting town with an ancient village. Lots of different thin gs to do. There are great fishing areas and you can go out for a great dinner at night. The sandy beach is outstanding as it stretches for kilometers. A great place to visit. We were there in late December and it was still pretty warm (about 20°C).alesSlovenia - 10Scored 10
So then on to Side.
So then on to Side. And what is probably the nicest place on the Turkish riviera. Why? Because Side is an ancient city that is still inhabited and is very much alive, both with locals and tourists. On the headland three columns of Apollo's temple still stand. But in the shade next to them there is a lively bar. In what is left of the bathhouse there is a little bazaar, Dionysus's temple *is* a bar. And the more modern parts are on a smaller scale than elsewhere, fitting in with the setting rather than dominating it. Fish restaurants serving the days catch and as much shopping for anyone wanting a bargain.

Side is a great holiday destination that offers a superb clean and safe beach. The water temp. was warm - as good as any Caribbean beach that we have visited. Daytime temp. reached 38 degrees, so still very hot. The resort was busy, sunbed's were difficult to get unless you were up with our European friends to reserve first thing. Lovely pathed walkway along seafront that takes you down into Side town. Great place to wander, lots of shops and Roman sites to see. Also a beautiful harbour full of tourist boats to hire.RoyUnited Kingdom

Staff very polite and friendly, food was plenty and the variety of the fruits and vegetables for winter month was amazing. Lavinia coffee area was our favorite- very nice coffee. Pool area is big and clean, inside pool is big too and hamam and spa area nice and clean. The hole area is beautiful with plenty pathways for running ,walking or just sitting on a bench and admiring the views.

Just far enough away from the disco etc to be peaceful at night. probably the best located hotel in Side. I've been to Turkey quite a lot and will definitely be going back to the Beach House in Side.
