We were supposed to be camping but the weather had turned before we could camp…. After a night in the car I looked for a budget hotel and found the Willows Training Centre…… To our surprise this hotel turned out to be far better than your Travel lodges!!….. Ok the room was a little small but it was sold as a small double, so we did expect it!! The room was clean, comfortable and exceeded expectations!….. perfectly good bathroom and shower - just could have done with more towels!! The room we were in was out the back and away from noise , so you could have the window open! The Woodlands self catering accommodation, a Bed-sitting room / Living room was larger than I expected from the photographs. The kitchen and bathroom were modern and well equipped. The property was located in a quiet area of the garden, the patio overlooked a small woodland area. Very peaceful. i took some light slippers with me, which I used as the floor is tiled with two rugs. The Air Con/ Heater on the wall was efficient as the evening got cooler. Unfortunately the hotel is out the way of any transport options other than a taxi, leaving with a taxi is ok but trying to get back isn’t, I was asked to wait 2hrs with one taxi firm. The Weeping Ash is a very nice pub (Wetherspoons) and the food is greatTonyUnited Kingdom - 6.0Scored 6.0

had a lovely stay. From checking in to the bar service and then the restaurant everyone was really nice and the food was delicious. The room was comfortable and it was very quiet. would certainly stay again if we are that way again. One little niggle was trying to find it, we were looking for The Willows when in fact it is the Lakes Wyboston otherwise great place to stay.
