The Old Town is stunning and the service in cafes and restaurants was very good. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. We visited sites from Cinema Paradiso and the lady showing us the cinema was welcoming and informative. The Catherdral and the square it sits in are beautiful and lovely to see the Arab - Norman buildings. Beachfront buildings are beautiful.
Even though it was out of season it was busy so maybe summer it would be too crowded but understandable as so pretty.
Vegetarian food on offer less inventive that in other towns in Sicily but the sights of the Old Town make up for any minor disappointments.

An absolutely charming town, the resort was relaxing, the employees all so nice… Cefalu had incredible beauty and if you are there at easter, the procession to the dome at night was touching. Beautiful plaza in front of the dome. Everything you can imagine in a small sicilian town.

Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily.
Cefalu is a beautiful place in Sicily. There is abounding natural beauty and many interesting little streets to wander, dotted with shops and restaurants.
Our accomodation was over-priced for the offering.
Fabulous town. Beautiful beach. Fantastic restaurants. The Old Town was amazing.Everyone was very friendly. Very easy to get around. The hill behind the town was worth walking up. We would avoid the hotel we stayed in, but would love to go back.

town is pretty but tourist oriented.
town is pretty but tourist oriented. Locals not exactly friendly. Think they are sick of tourists. Water was too rough to swim. Restaurants were mediocre compared to other places in Sicily.
Still good for a few days I think. Very historic
The location was excellent - right in the heart of Cefalu just a couple minutes walk to the main plaza and the beach. Yet it was also very quiet. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was extensive with lots of options. This room was also a great value for all that was provided. Because it's so central, parking is a ways away (about a 10 minute walk) and you can't drive to the hotel. But the hotel gave us great info on how to reserve the parking beforehand. We enjoyed our stay.
The resort was incredible. Super family friendly, full of activities for kids, and the beach was our favorite in all of Sicily.
The restaurants were very good - my favorite was the sushi restaurant which was innovative and super yummy - but make sure to book them in advance because the day we got there there was nothing available other than the buffet (which is what you get if you book all inclusive).
It was so nice villa with best stuffs ever. Everything was perfect explained by the reception. Top view from the mountain. We even had swimming pool getting warmed in February so that we could have a nice moment in water. The beds are so comfortable like in 5stars hotel. There is always a staff that is always available whenever something happens. I can only recommend to anyone.it deserves.
The siting and set-up of Hotel Kalura, with the sea on one side of the main building and a large swimming pool on the other, is a dream. So many lovely spots to sunbathe and go for a dip, set amidst striking scenery and crystal clear turquoise waters. Also - the waiters! They were lively, friendly, attentive and all seemed to enjoy their job. Not often you see that.
My wife and I spent a night at Retrò Rooms. The hotel room was comfortable, the breakfast was great, and the staff are all friendly and professional. The hotel has parking onsite for those with rental car. The location is a quick walk to the old town and Rocco di Cefalu trailhead. The beach is a couple of blocks down the street. Nice spot to stay at.
I traveled with my dad. This review reflects our personal experience with the host and the place.
The Central Balcony ROOM itself is good but has NO sea view. It has a balcony overviewing the old town of Cefalu, it is decorated with style and it has comfort. It is ideal for a family of 3, you have almost all the amenities one would need.
super chic updated property. rooftop infinity pool that gives you an amazing view of Cefalu. steps to the private beach! accommodating staff! they made me espresso shakerato for breakfast! great breakfast too and beautiful outdoor location for breakfast. everyone was SO nice. hotel room was so clean, modern and comfortable.
Such attentive hosts! Beppe made coming and going from the hotel as easy as can be in a rather challenging locale like the center of historic Cefalù. The rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the location could not be beat. Generous breakfast included nearby at a café in the Piazza del Duomo.
Taliammari is an outstanding hotel. The staff, especially the proprietor, are amazing. They treated my family warmly and hospitably. The proprietor played with my son and made a great experience one of the best that we've ever had traveling. Taliammari is the only place to stay in Cefalu.
Location was fantastic, almost on the sea front and in the heart of the city. It was modern and clean and quiet. Reception were very helpful. Breakfast was one of the best we had in Sicily for different options. Handy that there was Hotel parking reasonably close by.
Hotel Kalura is absolutely beautiful! Be prepared to do steps if you are staying with an Oceanview room. Our room was literally carved into the side of the cliff and just steps from the ocean/beach below. The bathroom was a nice size and the bed was very comfortable.
We enjoyed very much our stay there! There was a sense of home, family:-)
A big and well-equipped suite room, Tony and his staff were pleasant and helpful.
The restaurant of the hotel was excellent and the gluten-free pizza was huge and delicious! Thank you
The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. The breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed staying at Le Calette. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cefalù.
perfect location on right on the beach - very nice sandy beach in front of the location.
breakfast very good with a lot of options served in the hotel linked with the villa.
If you’re looking for a reprieve from the heat of the city/beach look no further. This place is magical. One of the nicest villas/hotels I’ve stayed in and I lived in Sicily.
The room are perfect with new bathrooms which is rare for Sicily. All The staff are very helpfull and welcoming. Parking is very good and safe in the grounds of the Hotel.
Super friendly owners, beautiful views, nice pool, good bedroom design and all very well thought out. Really liked this hotel, it was perfect for our family.
Very nice hotel ! Reception very kind ! Breakfast people very nice ! Swimming pool very nice ! In front of the beach ! Thanks for all and I will come back
